whoever said nike and skateboarding didnt work doesnt know shit. they are doin so well, and they got adds in all the mags. i own a pair and i like them better than any pair ive ever had. the grip on them is awesome, nad i picked them up for 20 bucks. sweet

Every one was is talking about how they dont want ing the sport to go corporate and I resaerched it and Adidas owns Salomon, Bonfire, and Arc‘Teryx and salomons huge and the other two are good sized

its true.....nike is huge. they could sponsor every event then basically put other things out of business or buy everything...then when they have everything they could just pull the plug just like transworld and freeze. nike is a big greedy corporation

actally skateboarding was ruined by nike and other big shit...its so gay and overrun by posers. lets say if 1 outta 10 newschool skiers are decent then 1 outta 100 skateboarders are decent. they are all fat or doofy kids now or retarded kids that spend hours trying to flip a board in their garage and they never get better but still wear the same damn clothing which consists of BAM hat, bam shirt and jeans. I think they would go for the sport in a different way then 'look were nike we have made awesome stuff in other sports buy it in skiing' I think they would have a front runner like adida has salaomon and no one would care until nike took over the sport
