Night skiing starts at Mt. Hood next weekend! I am so stoked! It is so nice to be able to extend the ski session into the night or to sleep in and still get as many runs as I want to.

NS why are you stoked for night riding?

Night skiing is probably the greatest thing ever...very stoked for nights ops. Mmmmm nothing like a storm rolling in mid-week and riding night pow while it stacks up and covers your tracks every other run...ughhh best thing ever

Night skiing is one of my favorite things on the mountain. Quiet lift, no lines, and a open park are music to my ears.

nothing better than coming in hot off a lap and going straight into the lift line and getting a chair to yourself

Night skiing just means getting drunk and skiing really fast two things that go together like peanut butter n jelly

Nothing quite like nine o'clock freshies and no lift lines.

There's no sweeter sound than lifts late at night with the snow softening everything

Do any other mountains in the West? I thought this was pretty extraordinary because I didn't think mountains in the West were open at night..

I'm from the Midwest so night skiing is normal, but we don't have fresh pow night skiing; now that just seems dope asf!

Nothing like skiing pow at night, even better when it's storming..Need to get my pow ski selection back up to snuff.

Anyone who enjoys night riding must hit up Alyeska. Their terrain That is open at night is unmatched. Also the maritime climate doesn't freeze all the time at night. Makes for soft turn well into the night.

Well from what I hear the midwest has no skiing anywhere right now, and Oregon has the largest night ski area in the U.S. soooooo

Those sound like the places to be! I love skiing all day long everyday

night skiing is awesome. I've lived in europe for 3 seasons now and places rarely have it, maybe they'll do it a couple days a month as a novelty but its not the same and the parks are never open at night just a couple groomers

one of the things i've missed most is night time park laps

The largest night skiing in the country Skibowl is pre dominantly my living room window, I work nights so its bad ass to wake up look out my room and see the Skibowl lights a short minute walk/ ski across the highway and I'm there. Nothing like riding from tline to your house to smoke and drink then click back in and go ride again. I remember few years back I rode from top of Palmer into my back door one run

one time i was night shredding at ski bowl and the power blacked out in all of govy... easily scariest moment of my life. all black everywhere you looked around and i was alone on the chair. screamed for like a solid two minutes pretty sure.

I love night skiing because during the day is when most want to film stuff but at night the quality would be bad and you can just bomb down with your friends at your home mountain that you grew up skiing at after a long week of school, its just a break

when it snows during night skiing, taking a lift to the top and just laying on your back, looking up and watching the snow fall on you,

skiing man, its a beautiful thing.

I love when its snowing super hard and theres just a sort of glow all around the mountain.

Night skiing is especially fun after a long day of work or school, love it soo much

Holy cow. I wondered if that ever happened. Those have to be some of the scariest chairs around.

I got my first couple of night laps in yesterday. First time back in the upper bowl since the season before last.

This same exact thing happened to me but it was when I was ripping a groomer on my local hill with my friend. Lights went off for a full 3 minutes so my friend and I and I just sat down and chilled in pitch black. Super terrifying.

Some night skiing love from Powder Mag.

Last night I hit up Cascade for the first time this season and the whole thing was groomed like a beautiful carpet. Had it all to myself too. Also the winch groom on Cannonball the other day was insane. Big ups to the Ski Bowl groomers.

Also Ski Bowl radio. Lulz. Wish I could stream that. (:

I skied bogus basin for the first time over break they have well set up night skiing from 9-9 but my bitch friends who dont really ski wanted to go so i had to even though I just took my first lap through the weak ass park that was actually so much fun even tho my knees were fucking aching so hard.

I love night skiing, I usually go on weekdays after school, my mountain is always open 9-9 except sundays. Its perfect going on weekdays, nobody is there past 4 so I just hot lap and hit rails for an hour or two.

Skinned up Bald Mt. in Sunvalley Idaho on the 1st with my mates after we finished our day, took 2 hours to get to the top, cold as hell when we got to the top(probably like -8 F with the wind chill and freezing sweat), and the snow cats were well on their way to being done with grooming the mountain. Needless to say we were piss tired when we got to the bottom but it was rad skiing down with just head lamps in the pitch black on freshly groomed corduroy at 8pm with a couple of your buddies. So yea, always stoked on some rad night skiing and skinning.

when u only bought a timberline pass :/

I wish they had night skiing more often at T-Line. Saturday I showed up at about 4 and it looked like the day session was super crowded. Cars were parked all over in random places. I managed to get my favorite parking spot and never waited for a chair all night. Molly's was super fast too.

Japanese night skiing is amazing aswell.

conditions usually suck, light can be terrible and landings either have bomb holes or are completely washed out but boy do i love night skiing, i dont know why but i always have a blast when i do it
