Did I miss something? Why is this guy competing at X? I am sure hes a great skier and all but come on, theres like a thousand skiers that deserve that spot over him. And its not like Mercon has done particularily well at other contests either.

ummmm... a million other skiers can do cork 3's too but people still pay to watch skiers like anthony and tanner throw em, I think ur missing the point.

um, no you are. I am not saying anything about Mercons skills! And no one throws cork 3's in comps, only videos. Mercon is dope in vids. But in comps we hear it all the time, the best are spinning both ways, swithch and whatnot. As far as I have seen. I really dont think Mercon is one of the top 20 comp skiers these days. Anyways, this is way too much geek ns chat for me, just tryin to prove a point.

i met mercon at camp. i personally think the guy is a dumb fuck, hes not a bad skier though

He rips for sure! GP is one of the greatest ski flicks ever.

Why at X: part of the reason is because there was a fucking blizzard during his slopestyle run last year, and he still threw down. This makes for tough judging hence here in 2005.

 
GP alone earns him a spot in any comp. dont bother replying if you havnt seen it because you should be spending your time trying to find a copy
