Nick Goepper: Possible SOTY?

So, what do you guys think about Nick possibly being a candidate for SOTY this year? I know a lot of NSers don't really like him, but he has really been throwing down lately. Like, At X, and Austrian Open, also, he did get second at Dew, didn't he?

I really think he might make it this year, Thoughts?
 
Skier of the year encompasses all the aspects of skiing: comps, BC, filming n' shit. Goepper is a beast, but sadly he only sticks to the comps and doesn't have much exposure outside of that, apart from edits that comes out every fifth month
 
Then how is it that Tom Wallisch, arguably the most glorified park skier in the world won it? And that HH beat out Petit?
 
Probly because tom is one of the best comp skiers in the world, does crazy urban for filming, does some BC booters and stuff. He is a pretty rounded skier. HH does well in comps and films (similar to TWall). Petit has some sick filming shots in the BC but doesn't venture into the park often for filming or comps, also doesnt do urban
 
Its march, there are still 9 months of this year to go. Maybe if Goepper made a video segs like Henrik or Tom he could be SOTY but it takes more than contest wins to get that title
 
who gives a flying fuck about skier of the year. its all about the powder awards for people who actually deserve an award.

 
He killed it in comps this year. I just think he doesnt put that much time into filming, but I'm sure he would slay at urban
