Nice Improvements to Icer Air

I have not seen much for comments on what the skiers thought of the setup this year at the Icer, but It looked 10 times better than last year. The jump actually had a trany, not 45 down flat 45 up like last year. They also did away with the two by fours on the sides and the gap of death and circus net. It sounds like it was actually a decent comp this year too, when last year some of the guys didn't even want to hit the jump. Nice work Icer, very nice. Keep that going in the right direction next year.
 
The jump was technically as big as last years, because it was 50 ft to the knuckle, but since this year the jump was built perfectly, everybody was getting air, and actually landing mid-tranny.
 
The jump was soo much better this year but I think the setup of the event was stupid like having all the booths in a seperate area was dumb, I think they shoulda kept the tents on the field.
 
Yea it actually looked legit this year! Totally sketch last year. Im sure more sponsorship money had something to do with it. The event is pretty successful.
 
for sure they had more money but they also learned from a lot of mistakes. everyone ive talked to that was there last year said that it seemed like they were just winging it without tons of preparation... definitely seems like they had lots more time and effort put into this one, plus the criticism of the athletes..
 
ditto that. Streets of SanFransico I think? That was the sickest idea ever...not the biggest fan of the ballpark setup, especially since Newschoolers calls it the biggest event for fresskiing...
