If you are looking for a quiet glacier in Europe I would recommend you Schnalstal in Italy. Great summer park, cheap and it's not that crowded as in Saas Fee right now.. My favourite summer park right now!

actually it's just a summerpark.. but we have camps in saas fee and zermatt (switzerland)

im just trying to figure out if by any chance its cheaper to head over there instead of to hood... are there any hostels there?

okey what I can tell you is the following:

1 day card: 25 Euros (glacier open 8am-1pm)
1 room for 4 people: 70 Euros
journey to schnalstal: fucking expensive, guess you need a car..

BUT you have the park mostly for your own!!!!
