Nice East MAssachusetts Mountains

MA.

I don't know many mountains on the east side of massachusetts, the only one I know is Blue Hills. Any nice mountains southern N.H. pretty close?

Ragged mtn and Waterville and loon are both within 2hours of Boston. Those are the only good myna close to mass. Nowhere in mass s good

hit up stratton, best mountain on the ec. or if you want to go to northern vermont for some steeps there is always killington. killington is boss.

killington is more southern/central vermont there bub.

i do recommend a trip up to northern vermont though, jay peak gets dumped on all season.

Stratton? Are you serious? Stratton is NOT the best mountain on the East Coast. Stratton is crap.

Just as an fyi. Killingtons vertical drop is a little over 3000'. Shweitzer, your home mountain, has 2400'. There are mountains over here dumbass

but whats the average slope? one is super flat and mellow, the other actually has something called ridgelines. They are hills back east, not steep enough to be called a mtn.

And fwiw, my home mtn hasnt been schweitzer in years, now its kwood or alpine.

We know this is an old post, but just in case you're still trying to find a solid place to ride park in MA, check us out at Nashoba Valley in Westford, MA. Although we aren't a mountain, we are a little hill that packs a punch. We are super dedicated to the parks.

To be fair, Nashoba somehow wasn't mentioned in this thread when it's the only good answer. It's an anthill but it has a super fun park

Hey caligrown I forget, do you think the east or west coast is better?

This. You can go there and get really good in the park. Won't keep your interest outside of the park.

Blue Hills has no park but it is a very good 'hill' nice pitch and pretty steep and would be the envy of pretty much all the midwest ski areas will improve your skiing outside the park

Nothing in Southern NH hence why Wachussett gets so crowded and often is 'full' shutting down parking lots at prime times.
