i would love to say ottawa, and as much as i hope they do win; detriot will probably take it.

detroit is where its at, with legace between the pipes, and datsyuk making goalies look stupied, really no one will beat them

Ottawa and Dallas in the final.

Turco will break out, but when hasek comes back he will not be beatable. Ottawa in 6, Haseks revenge!!!

i had kiprusoff (sp?) as my fantasy goalie. best fucking goalie this year. flames have a good chance to go far this year
 
It's impossible not to pick the wings going in. And yet, the Ducks and Sharks are actually solid. Turco sucks nuts.

I want to see Buffalo win the East, but it will likely be Carolina or Ottawa. Montreal is fucked.

montreal is going in after racking off a pretty good streak to get in the playoffs. They're not going to go easily if Huet continues what he's been doing.

hot goalies can carry a team a long way.
 
calgary is going to make it all the way to conference finals. kiprusoff has shown that hes not backing down after that breakout playoff season. against detroit, its anyones ball game.

i say montreal will get taken down by ottawa no matter how hot cristobal is (or aebischer). the only thing stopping ottawa recently has been the leafs, and theyre gone, and now ottawa has a decent goalie to help out their fucking powerhouse front five.
 
Well, I just simply need to route for my local hometown team. So that would be the Sabres.

It would make me so damn happy. Everyone picked them to be one of the worst in the league. They dropped their top defensemen and their top scorer, and didn't sign any star power names.

But where they have the edge is with a solid 4 line team that works together beautifully.

The only thing that concerns me is experience, which means a lot come post season.
 
...and by experience, i mean lack thereof. The Sabres are such a young team. No real veterans so to speak.
