NH Statehouse to Vote on Marijuana Decriminalization Tomorrow!!!!

the site says possession of 1.25 ounces or less would become a civil violation punishable only by a fine, stoners rejoice!
 
its already legal to smoke on the street if you are 18 and don't have intent to sell in San Francisco
 
It will probably mean little to nothing, and they will never be able to legalize it due to federal pressure from appropriations.
 
Its still a step though. It is legal to have small amounts of weed in Denver now, and in Colorado the fine for smoking a cig in a non-designated smoking place is greater than getting caught with weed. The Feds need to realize that weed is a just plant that happens to make you hungry and happy and able to do menial tasks without getting bored.
 
I have news for you all-- it's still illegal under federal law. Federal law supersedes state law. Smoking marijuana is still illegal (even in San Francisco).

 
yah its illegal everywhere but this is to DECRIMINALIZE it. hence you only get a fine for getting caught with less than 1/4 oz. and its only a misdemeanor instead of a felony with jailtime.
