NFL game of the year.

im goin with the vikes i mean back in week 4 when the vikes beat the pack i know that was home field ad. but... favre had 271 passing proving they dont need a.p. to hold them on his shoulders because a.p. only had 55 yards..im goin with the vikes on this one

no no, this is the brett favre greenbay packers game of the year

the pats still have to play the colts

the pats still have to play the saints

THOSE are some games of the year

favre pulls it off the only reason the gbay fans are booing him is cause they cant face the fact that they suck and are going to lose.

jared allan = amazing, his mullet and mustache love to eat quarterbacks for breakfast!

but seriously....vikings to the superbowl this year for sure :)

Ok andy. We get the point that you are a diehard Patriots fan. Could you please stop threadjacking EVERY football thread with Patriot stuff?

Be warned, I type this with a smile on my face.

i didnt mean to make it seem like it was boasting about being a pat fan. i was just thinking about some games that were big on an NFL level, not just a personal level. knowing the patriots schedule best, i brought up 2 of the pats upcoming games within the next month. but now that i have some time to think, here are some other huge nfl games

AFC north still has a bunch of divisional games vs eachother

broncos play the steelers

etc etc

You have to be honest though, this game will be pretty well covered cause it is one teams longtime quarterback playing against them now, for what is possibly Green Bay's biggest rival. Makes for great soap opera sports.

i know its gonna be well covered, and has been, exactly for what you said: a soap opera. this game was one really good team vs one slightly above average team. NFL game of the year should be powerhouse vs powerhouse, rivalry makes it all the better

pats vs colts: how many times have we seen it? it never gets old

pats vs saints: tom brady vs drew brees: who's the more dominant qb? shootout till the death

etc etc

For me, it is more entertaining cause I am a Packers fan but at the same time am a Brett Favre fan too.

And Saints vs Patriots, I personally want the Saints to win and Drew Brees to have a slightly better game. It isn't cause I am a Patriots hater it is cause I think the Saints have always kinda been the ass end of jokes in the NFL world and don't get enough credit. They are like the NFL version of the modern day LA Clippers.

i hate this guy

He is the New England Patriots

head coach since 2000. A Super Bowl winning* coach, known for cheating

his way to wins, who rides the tails of his MVP quarterback Tom Brady and amazing defense to getting credit for being one of the greatest coaches ever, when in fact everyone knows he sucks.

Known for being an asshole to the media and wearing a hoodie on gamedays.

Bill Belichick was fined $500,000 for cheating.

When one thinks of cheating assholes, Bill Belichick's name comes to mind.

I lol'ed at the pic, but really? I doubt you are any more perfect than he is, and that your football team is any cleaner than the pats. For instance, If you're a Colts fan, have you noticed how many steriods bob sanders uses and how unnaturally loud the stadium is?

New York Jets.

bellicheck is a pussy tho for real. and pats fans are always sore losers and think they are entitled to win everything. fuckin queer

One could say that about Qwest Field too in Seattle. I was there for the WSU vs Baylor game a couple years ago and it wasn't even half full. I was in the upper deck with my dad, and I couldn't here what he was saying half the time and he was right next to me. The acoustics of Qwest field is disturbing.

right, because tom brady isnt a product of bill belichick or anything. and bill isnt the one who ran the front office predominantly to make the trades for randy moss and wes welker or anything. look what randy moss did in oakland, then what he did in NE. look what matt cassel did in NE, now look at him. seriously, bill may have a bad personality, but there is no question he is a genius when it comes to coaching. and if you knew anything, (or whoever wrote that) youd know that he actually is wicked chill. just watch hard knocks or get to know him. fuckin retard

really? what are you now? 4-3? with 2 losses to the dolphins? how's that feel? we'll kick your ass next time we play you

i was suggesting artificial sound being projected into the field when the opposing team is on offense. I suppose that's possible with qwest as well

ok. first year quarterback and first year head coach and still a winning record. oh and one of the best defenses in football.

Wait, they do that? I was talking about how Qwest Field was designed to funnel, literally ALL noise into the field. Hell, when a plane comes to land or after takeoff from SeaTac the damn stadium is almost deafening.

it's not legal, but there were rumors that the colts were doing that. but designing the field that way is just stupid, harms the home team as well

I'll give you a good defense, but sanchez has been terribly inconsistent... you aren't going places this year. next year, i'll be scared.

The Kingdom was loud as well, as is the UW stadium too, so the Seahawks are used to incredibly loud fields.

so did the pats before bill belichick stepped in. then he won a superbowl in his second season, rest is history

i hope the saints beat the patriots...i don't like the pats as a team, but I like Tom Brady and believe he will go down as the greatest QB of all time. I'm just a saints fan, I like will smith and reggie bush and followed drew brees a ton through his college career with purdue since the gophers played him every year. It will be sweet to see who plays better in that game brees or brady...where is it at? if its at the superdome no chance for the pats.

though i may have to change what i said...because depending what game it is, if the saints are still undefeated and the vikings have one loss i would love the pats to beat the saints so we could be in a dead tie for first in the NFC
