NFL draft

who do you thinks going first?

I think texas will take Bush but i think thats a bad idea. I think they should trade the pick away for linemen

maybe. and a lot of sportscasters are making the point that all the "mobile" QBs in the NFL (Vick, McNabb, McNair) havent done much, so theyre putting vince young further down in the draft.

what are you talking about...mcnabb and mcnair both made it to super bowls. didnt win any, but still. vick made it to the nfc championship 2 yrs ago and mcnabb has made it i dont even know how many times.

young is dropping because his mechanics are shit and he's a dumbass... it'll take him 3-4 years to develop into a decent NFL qb

the texans have the option of trading down and picking up a few extra pics on the first day to fix their horrible oline. they already have a decent rb in davis... but bush would be extremely hard to pass up

as long as the bills dont draft broderick bunkley at 8 (the guy is a workout warrior and will probably be a bust) ill be happy

there have only been 3 black qbs to play in a super bowl. mcnair and mcnabb are 2 of 3. thats proly why no mobile qbs have won super bowls. that is bullshit if you dont draft a qb because he isnt a pocket passer. if you go on stupid history like that then you might as well not draft a black qb.

i think tennesee should draft vince young. he would be a good successor to mcnair because he needs time to develop most likely. the jets need somebody now so leinart would be a better choice for them i think. oakland could go for either if one drops that far.

Texans have locked up Carr, Bush is going first.

2nd will pbly go to Young. and Leinhart will be re-united with Chow at 3rd.

I doubt that the Texans would pass on Bush.

Also there is a good chance that this will be the first time in a while that a QB isn't picked with the first pick.

Bush will go #1. Barring any trade down offers, the Saints will pick either Mario Williams or D'Brickashaw Ferguson.

Tennesee (Steve McNair will be playing for the Ravens next year)will then draft either Leinhart or Young. And the Jets will select whoever the Titans didn't.

My guess woul be AJ Hawk or Vernon Davis would go next. And no matter what anyone says about his performance at the combine, or his maturity level, Lendale White will be the steal of this draft.

i wish AJ Hawk Would Drop far enough down so my Browns could pick him, but that probably wont happen. So if i were the browns i think i would trade down out of the spot try to move down to around 20 and get some additional picks further down the line, then at the 20 spot pick up the other Ohio State LB Bobby Carpenter.

As for the first pick it will be bush, i think the saints will get Fergeuson, they ned to rebuild the line after losing bentley to free agency. i think the titans will goe with young to follow mcnair and that will give him time to transition to the nfl jets will be able to steal leinhart, that is if the bills dont trade up to take him second if they could work a deal with the saints

Texans can't go wrong, Bush or Williams will make an immediate difference.

Expect the Raiders to take V. Young, even if they have to move up to get him.

Saints will take Leinhart.

Jets?

I want my Steelers to get Lendale, but am expecting him to go to Carolina or New England. I also hope they take Bloom.

What round do you think Bloom will get selected?

My bad, I forgot they picked up D. Brees. I guess they will take Ferguson or Williams if he is available.

lendale's put on 15-20 pounds since the rose bowl. he had a bad workout at the combine and another at USC scouting day. he has dropped pretty far in projected drafts

I know, but I'm betting that some of it is media overreaction. If that kid has the right mentality (which is the big question right now) he can flat out ball. And, he is a perfect fit for the Steelers next "big back", assuming he is not a head case.

Here is a quote attributed to Andre Wootert, a backup RB for USC. He's been

teammates with Lendale for 3 years doing the same drills and focusing on RB film:

"Lendale White is the best running back I've ever seen play. Bar none.

Period. Reggie Bush is one of the best football players I've ever seen, no

doubt about that, but LenDale is the best running back I've seen. LenDale

has everything you want in a running back. He's got perfect body lean, great

size, power. He destroys anybody he wants to. He blocks and flips d-linemen

like it's nothing."

he has a torn hammy that is why he didnt run for either workout, it is advantage for teams lower in the draft because he will now be a steal for whoever picks him up.

ive been hearing alot about lienhart (or however you spell it) some guys are saying hes not gunna be able to cut it as a pro QB. I think hes really good and all but maybe a bit slow

^??? Leinart is the only QB in the draft to run an NFL-style offense. He started 3 years at USC! Out of any of the QB's available, Leinart is the one who's ready to take over an NFL teams' offense, while the others might need to be groomed for awhile.

Leinart better go to the Titans. We need a new quater back and leinart would be a great fit since Norman Chad is already in Tenneessee.

^obviosly youre a dumbass. matt leinart is so good because he has lendell white and reggie bush, and when you have a sick running game, it opens up the passing game soo much. his team in the nfl will not be that dominant in running which will create less opportunities for passing

if anything cutler is better prepared to be an nfl QB than leinert. cutler had to put up with mad amounts of pressure because his oline blew and he still made plays and won games on his own..

leinert had what was pretty much a pro offensive and reggie bush to carry the team...

The word at One Bills Drive still isn't clear. I can't see my Bills taking Bunkley at #8, although It is a possibility knowing they still need another DT to play beside Triplett. Haloti Ngata has been looked at, and so has Huff, but the word is also that they may want to move back and pick up another pick in the 2nd round.

Either way, there is a lot of speculation on the draft, and that's why it's worth watching. Good call on Young, because it's true. Poor technique and not high intelligence.

well the bills just signed tuton reyes at LG who is a definate upgrade over bennie anderson, so now they dont really have as much of a need on the oline anymore. if vernon davis falls its possible they could try to pick him up. the dline still needs addressing tho. i'd be happy with ngata at 8 and tamba hali if he falls to the 2nd round

You're right. None of his stats matter (Heisman? anyone?), Bush and White just allowed him to coast through his years at USC.

Last time I checked, a QB runs the offense, USC was Leinart's team. Whether he has a running game or not, he's more prepared to enter the NFL than any other QB in the draft.
