So far, i've heard that the new skogen sprang pro model will be almost the exact same, because of how succesful it was so far. The e.p. pro will be for next year. Rossi dumps the scratch, and renames it the probe, and it has some kinda space age graphics. Head will come out with a new fat twin called the mojo, (standing for j-mo), and every1 knows about the trouble maker. This is all i know from rumours, so don't bitch at me about it.

the grey and green scratches that kye has are scratch pro teen, which may or may not be next years model. but they are definetely not probes.

scratch still exist...there is a Beige and orange one...and salomon twins stayed the same(so you can buy em now and have ski of the year for 2 years) they are adding a 1080 in 151 which is Blue.

i saw kye at whistler and he was on the scratch pro-teen, they have this wierd rubbery topsheet and they don't have the naked chick on them.

I have seen raps or someone on the orange and beige scratchs already - they are kinda ugly from the colors, and the new scratchs (green ones) have the rossignol cock on them instead of the lady

anybody here going to SIA Vagas show next week? you should just take picks of all next years skis to end this battle. I know that the on snow demo is Feb 3-6 at stratton, which i will take part in, so you can count on specs and pics from me shortly after.

I have seen some stuff for next year, heres what i have learned:

Rossi will have 5 skis in the park/bc/mogal catarogy. The Scratch bc (new graphics, but unchanged otherwise), scratch fs(new graphics but unchanged otherwise), scratch (new entry level twin, sort of like a step down like how the salomon 720 relates to the 1080), and the Scratch teen, a model for the little guys. The Mogal ski is also gettin revamped with some new graphics.

Salomon will leave there 1080 and pocket rocket skis alone, except for adding a 151 1080. The other skis will change quite a bit.

Line is trying to become more and more of a all around ski company. the have 12 models of skis coming out this year, with 7 that are multi sized. there are 6 carving skis, 3 pro models, the 1260, getto blaster, and maveric.

Volkl has 3 twins coming out. the V-legend, pro, and the gotoma(super fat twin, with a waist of 105.

Thats about all for now, I heard some other news tho, Kristy Leskinin has left nordica. I bet that she will get scooped up pretty quickly. For al that did not know, nordica was bought by the Technica group about 2 weeks ago.

Yea, the new bandits ride great. Our shop is already selling them. If you wanna demo them, just go to stratton, cause First run ski shop has them to try.

 
crichton was on the trouble makers this weekend. they look like a great ski. he had nothing but good to say about them. i like the topsheet too. looks much better than in that picture

I saw the new beige scratches this weekend, i stared at them for like 10 min. ad still could not distiguish what the sillohette was of. Does anyone know?

 
damn...i wished they were called the probes..cause thats what ive been calling the '04 rossignol twins before i knew anything about this

what about armada, are they gonna have the same skis as this year in 04?

 
I saw the 04 scratchs yesterday, and am riding them today. i will bring my digi to the mountain and take some pis for you all hopyfully. Thats if the fucking temp get out of the negitave numbers. At stratton yesterday the high at the top was -18 with 60mph winds. they did not open the top half of the mountain, and it was free sking on the lower half.

 
Look for K2 to change the PE and maybe the Pistol graphics for next year. Other stuff in the works that you'll just have to wait on:)

Ok, i got my 2003-2004 buyers guide in the shop today, and decided to take a few pics with the digi for you all, and i also took some pics of the new salomon 2004 catologe, was to cold to go out skiing today on the new scratchs, so thoes pics are soon to come.

Thats ALL for now! I am on snow testing salomon next week, and feb 3-7 at stratton is the big on snow demo. If your in the area i would suggest coming on over and checking out all the 2004 gear. I will try and get pics of every ski that i ride. peace

 
K2 has a new pow ski , its not called Fat Elvis. It is called the Kahuna. Dimensions are 138-108-128...10mm of sidecut. one size-189cm

I have skied it and it is sick. THe only boards you will ever need for the deep/steep stuff

shit dang, thats fucking huge. I own a set of fischer big stix 106, that are 135-106-123, and i thought that those were big. Looks like the whole market is getting bigger and bigger. Ski to look for next year is the Salomon Xscream Xtra Hot. ITs a dope ski.
