So I was riding the tram today and talking to one of salomon's pro riders and he had next years big mountain badass. the 'Big Gun' It was dressed up to look like a pocket rocket but it wasnt capped construction it was sandwich construction (3 layers), It didnt look spaceframe and it was super fat wide and long, they looked really solid. I'm looking forward to getting a pair next year. Just figured I'd share the sighting

I thought they were going to call that ski the Gun Lab. Or maybe thats the Lab version of the Gun...

 
I think the lab's are the 205 Ak Rocket swallow tails, I could be wrong on that though. this kid said they were the 'Big guns'. They looked so good I can't wait till next year

I heard someone from Salomon mention out at SIA that there will also be a Big Gun Lab version- I know that they are still doing the AK thing.

awesome, so does this mean that all the skis in the new line are going to be sanwiched and wood core? awesomeness! cuz salos are awesome for like the first year, then they die

Yeah and they will have a tan topsheet which will match my outfit, thats the REAL reason I want them
