Next years new Dalbello freeride boot...

so got to check out the new freeride boot, holy crap. blows all others out of the water. forgot the name, starts with an r or somethin. anyway, the lower shell is clear, with a black tounge/uppercuff. the clear matieral is a lil more flexible and dampening, plus you can see inside when your working on them. they have ID liners (YAY!), and the top buckle is replaced with this big leather strap, with a rachet on it. the way its set up, you can loosen it and its soft flexing witout loosing support, or tighten it when you wanna ski all mountain. sooo dope looking. looks so much better than the already amazing boot.
 
Yeah, I really hope my feet fit well in Dalbello's, I really want a new pair of boots after my 1080's decided to start fucking with my shins this season.
 
no pics. it was in person, and i didnt have a cam. picture the rampage, but instead of tan, its transucent/clear. now, instead of a top buckle, there is a leather support strap around the entire top, with a rachet buckle. the liner is a rather borring looking (but way better) ID liner.
 
nuh ugh. dalbello makes some HUGE boots. the protons are some of the widest boots ive ever seen.

and yes, its the same basic krypton shell, same fit. dikffernt boot model tho
 
mah you must be on crack.....the protons are the NARROWEST boot ive ever put on....salomon make the widest boot out there. I really would love to ride dalbellos, but my huge hobbit frenchmen feet say no.
 
no way. the proton is the widest boot they make. its fuckin massive.

kryptons are narrowest, reflexes are mid width, protons are fat as hell. i work in a shop and we sell almost entirely dalbellos
 
kinda, but not really. like, theres a super thick strap that overlaps around the whole boot (instead of the plastic that usually wraps the front of the boot. its got a slaprachet that closes it.
 
try the reflex 11. i actually liked um more than my kryptons (had them for last 2 years. the kyptons ski a bit better, but are not as comfy. the reflexs are alot wider.

THE BOOTS HE I TALKING ABOUT ARE CALLED THE "IL MORO" THEY ARE CLEAR WITH THE ID LINER AND IT HAS A HUGE LEATHER RACHET STRAP FOR THE TOP STRAP AND THEN THE TWO BUCKLES AT THE BOTTOM, i HAVE THE PICTURE SO i'LL POST IT IN A MINUTE.
 
compared to SPK...Foil....most of the boots salomon makes. My local shop sells Dalbellos too....and you need to have HUGE wide french men feet to really know what a wide boot is all about.
 
So its the same as the rampages but with a new upper strap an ID liners? The big question is whether the fit will still be super narrow like all their other boots.

When glen plake came to my ski hill two or three years ago he was testing a boot with the same liner. He said it was like his model coming out...sick
