NEXT YEARS K2

holy shit on 649 for the hellbent??!?!?! holy fuck!

but it says that they are 179 long??? is that right??

Saw them last week. They have a tiny bit of regular camber underfoot and them are slightly rockered in the top and tail.

Next years Seth Pistols only in 169 and 179? I was still doubting between 179 and 189, seems they made the choice for me.

So you guys know, manufacturers set prices that shops can sell skis at. So you won't see them below those prices until about February. All the online sites will be the same price. So you can't compare them based on that.

189cm will be available in the Seth, it just did not come in with this shipment. Jibij has them for pre-order. www.untracked.com only has the one's that are in stock up on the site. Pre Order will be soon to come since many of the early ship is selling fast. There will be Hell Bent's in 169cm and 189cm as well.

nah no change i talked to a guy at the demo booth at my mountain. He said "why would we need to change them?" What kinda answer is that? ski companies always need to innovate to stay on top of the game. But the fuji does have some little silver k2 logo rivets i believe there is two on the tip and one on the tail.

There is not much need to change the fuji other than graphic because the ski is already unique to the line up and if you are looking for something different K2 already has something for almost anyone. If not you can get it from one of their other brands like Line or Volkl.

The new graphic on the fujitive is the best they have made in a while.

Didn't someone say that next years' Seth will have like a step up in the waist to something like 101mm, cause in Al's Ski Barn the dimensions stated are still the same: 130-98-118 !?

how about a stronger carbon stringer for higher ollies or a double reinforced edge under foot....or anything else they dont have to change the ski just make it better...personally i didnt like them

you don't have to like them, but that is why Line makes the chronic for next year with more pop and a totally new design. They also make a ski like the PE that has more pop than the Fujative, but cost more money. You can get an Invader that has Ollie bands. I am just saying that if a company changed a ski every year that they would have to charge so much more money for the ski. There is not one major company that changes more than 40% of their line in a single season. Molds are very expensive and you have to use them for 3 or 4 years to make their investment money back.

Curious if anyone has skied the new Seth. I am intrigued by the rocker idea, but I've never skied a ski with rocker. If anyone has skied it, how different does the rocker make it feel from this year's version?

Been talking to a guy couple of weeks ago who had them on, he said they where exactly the same as this years, but feel a bit lighter.

jibij has a lot of new skis...they have the new punisher...

i am interested in those...has anyone seen them or skied them?

'08 Fujis are definitely different. Earlier years have a stiffer tail, and now the tail is almost as floppy/poppy as the tip.
