If i work up enough money over the summer I'm hoping to pick up a pair of one of these. Sounds like a great ski for deep powder days, fun bc booters, and good maneuverability in deep and steep tree lines. And ive been dying to try a pair of rockered skis. But im wondering if people have more info on how the skis compare. Which are supposed to be lighter, softer, etc. Thanks

i have the bibbys, and they are so fucking sick. and to my suprise they work relatively well on groomed and such, just dont try to take gs style turns on ice.. but they fucking rip. i love them

he doesnt care about the ep. he wants one of these. id say go with whichever one is cheapest, seeing as theyre both sick skis from legit companies, and realtivley similar to one another.

why because they've broken, becasue you're partial to some other ski company? 1. its safe to assume that everyone who skis moments knows what they are doing and are capible of breaking skis becasue they ski them beyond their limits. A limit that would be reached if the same rider was skiing on any other ski in the same fashionn. 2. What are your experiences riding moments? 3. What are you riding for skis and have you ever broken one? (pullout, missing edge, delam, snap, etc)

thank you...

personally im suprised mine havent broken yet with the hits theyve taken..im confident that any k2, armada, salomon would have broken given the 45mph straighline into a rock. i got a good sized core shot, but my ski is still functional. the bases are absolutely bomber.

ive seen k2s broken and the core looks like it was made with plywood.

its nice to be able to not worry skiing over rocks..even at high(ish) speeds.

becasue they bend their tails crooked, they aren't made with precission, they all break even though the same kids who are on a pair of similar 4frnts or Armadas or K2's or most other brands. Moment blows goats and you all suck for packing them

Because every pair I have seen has their tail bent crooked which means they aren't made with precission which means that they are probalby no that well made. Plus everyone breaks theirs, even the same guys that haven't broken their Armadas or 4Frnts in the past. Stop packing a gay company

because every pair I have seen have the tails or tips bent crooked, which means they aren't going through much precession or scrutiny when they are being molded or constructed which means they are poorly manufactures. And they always break all the time, by skiers who aren't able to break their armada's, 4frnts, or K2's. So stop packing a gay company

if the jp is nearly as stif as the arg and the bibby isnt, then those are 2 very differney skis.

but i dont know if the jp is as stiff.

100%...coming from someone who claims skis made in china are made with precision..when its made by a chinese dude whos never seen snow before, let alone knows what a ski is.

their tails are bent crooked? thats not even possible considering theyre put in molds and arent BENT.

i dont imagine people go out and try to break their skis either?

lol.you clearly have no clue what you are talking about because they arent bent..they are pressed in a mold which is already rockered. your k2s are BENT.

learn how to spell faggot if your going to start making personal attacks.

are you getting this info from douglas and what he was saying at SIA. Thats inncorrect. Email every ski company that makes a rockered ski and ask them if they are molded that way or bent. Every one of your responses will say molded. Ski companies lie/extend the proof to help push their product. does it work, yes to people who don't do their homework and listen to assumpions. I know for a fact that Moment skis are molded that way. It was dicussed in a thread conviently called errors from SIA. Have  fun finding it, it's in a place you'd never go.

Anyway, i am dissapointed in you as a poster and a giraffe. Someone who has been here 7+ years is making attacks with absolutly no justification.

If you have read any of my previous posts about any subject, you would know that I have impeccable spelling and grammar. What might that suggest to all of you? Maybe I didn't really write any of the above posts. Maybe I am in a bad mood and was trying to piss people off. Maybe I am making jokes in all my threads today to make people mad. Maybe those are my real opinions. I will let all of you decide. And just so you know, if you are a mag you know I don't generally act like this, which might help you make an educated guess.

Ok, so here is how it really went down. I would rather have the JP vs. Julian, it is more of my style of ski and I am thinking of getting it Some of the Prototypes of next years momen't I have seen really do look crooked (but that is not why I would rather have the JP vs Julian). Since I knew some of you really love Moment, and I am not in the best mood right now (since I am injured and haven't skied in 3 weeks) I decided to piss some people off by acting lie a dick. I also thought that I could say whatever I wanted and you would buy it, but I guess I was wrong. I am sorry for being a jerk. My opinion really is the Jp. vs Julian though, but I won't be sure until I test them.

Your a fucking dumbass, wether you are joking or not between your forum icon and the way you talk out you ass, you are fucking idiot.

Cant we just stop with the fuckin hate in general, theres about 6 posts on this thread relevant to the topic outta 30, wtf

im pretty sure i saw the bibby pro models in whistler like about 2 months ago... they were hella rockered.. i would assume the JB's will be more of a jibbing rockered ski..(if that makes since)

The bibbys are sick, perfect flex for all mountain riding, hucking and jibbing. I would recommend them if you lived somewhere that gets heavier snow than CO.

The JJs should really be your ski. They have normal camber/sidecut underfoot and are rockered/reverse sidecut in the tips and tail. In other words, they are going to kick ass everywhere.

the JJ's look sooo sick im really intrigued by them
to bad i dont need new skis and already know what skis i will be getting after next season

haha

You pulled yourself out of that one nicely. Don't see this much on ns, props

I think they JJ's look super sick, I might pick up a pair next year.

wowwowwow gotta call you out on that one

my moments have been super durrable the whole season

flex is medium, weight is light as fuck for a ski that size, and the rocker is 2.5 cm in front and 2 in back

they both look sexy, but the jp has that sidecut in a reverse sidecut thing goin on that the arg has, but much more pronounced. i think those fuckers are going to rip.

the bibbys look like more of a jib tool, with everyone saying how ridiculously light they are, i really want both.

awww dont hate in the hood cause you cant get your hands on a pair.

I have rockers adn jibs and they are fucking insane bomber. My tails arent crooked. Are you maybe ignorant and talking about the rocker? Its pretty on point and to spec... maybe you should try a pair and be stoked. Im super gay for moment... get used to it.

I did I didnt call you out or anything, just corrected some false information,

being in a bad mood is something but telling uncorrect infos on some product is another thing. I just corercted the false statement

To thread maker, these two skis are pretty different one have reverse sidecut if I remember correctly and the otherhave regular sidecut. I think the bibbys will be better to kick it all aorund the mountian in varisous condition while the jp vs julien will be better for powder only. Sure the jj will be ok in other condition but wont be as all around then the bibby. I guess it comes down to a point where you have to decide for getting one powder specific tool and use other skis when tehre sint that much pow or get one that can rip on pretty much anything.
