So i have been looking at the SIA pages and its seems like all the new gear was differnt but not in like a good way. i went through the pages again and noticed a lot (not all) of company's new gear was just cluttered with shit on them of random pictures and graphics. I mean really cluttered like all the gear is covered in this stuff. Has anyone else noticed this? I personally dislike the look..but to each is own. is this wear skiing fashion is going? if so, this sucks!

I really liked next years stuff. the orage and skull candy blew my mind. And i was actually impressed by K2s stuff.

Is K2 actally doing something good with their skis? / Orage promoting tight pants?
good looks freeskiing.

Oh and the Moment skis for next year look super legit. Most likely going to get a pair of Reno Rockers next year...stoked!

The actual ski specs are really nice for all of the companies. Graphics wise high society, moment, élan, and salomon (like usual) have some of the sickest graphics I've seen in awhile. Armada has a few I like and a few I don't, but there amazing specs on the halo/alpha 1 more than make up for it. As for outerwear I'm also not so stoked on what I've seen. Orage looks like it has some sick stuff and as much as people dislike Nike 6.0 coming into skiing/snowboarding I was really stoked on most of there stuff. Skullcandy's flatbills are the shit, def gettin one. Fulltilt's designs look a little plain to me.

But overall I'm only stoked on a few companies this coming season unlike this year where I was stoked for most.

exactly...

if we should buy gear based on how it performs, why do these skis need crazy graphics? bet you didn't see that coming

personally, i don't like flashy colors and crazy graphics. I find nothing wrong with a picture or a companies name or an interesting color, but when there is like a graphic novel on my ski, i think its ugly and a waste. My Moments are basically brown with a bear on them, they are simple. surface has some just plain white skis with a logo on it. I like that kind of stuff.

also, maybe if companies didnt worry about the graphics so much, they could use some better material so that top sheets don't chip at all, even if it meant being a solid color.

hey i was pumped for 333skis because the test skis just had a wood finish. i thought that looked baller, but the performance was absolute shit so i sent them back.

I mean I could care less what graphics my skis have on them. I look at the specs first such as length, dimensions, flex, blah blah blah and than if it has a sick graphic than that's just a bonus...Skis are covered in snow or stickers 90% of the time so why bother picking a poorly made ski just because it's graphics are baller as hell.
