Does anyone know anywhere on the web where they have long range weather forecasts speciffically for mountain temps and snowfall if so comment and leave a link. Thanks.

alot will prob depend on el nino or la nina. right now i think its pretty nuetral but switching over to la nina.

all i know is that last year people were saying Colorado was sposed to have a terrible snow year

but then we got quite a bit of snow

winter will probably start later and end later like every season for the past 2 years

Haha did you see the sign at snowbird when it said 357 inches in 2006 to 2007 wow that would be a record in colorado.

I jhave a time machine, and i went to next winter.

More of the same bud... move to the NW and get pounded on like I did. weeee!

na no more el nino for a couple of years. my areas farmers almanac was dead on this year. sucky start then bitter ass cold in february to make some serious snow

i hope we just have a long constant winter next year not like this year where in the east at least we had nothing till like mid febuary then got pounded last 2-3 months of the season

and farmers alminac last year said it was goign to be a cold winter, not a snowy one. and i dunno about you, but it was pretty snowy here.

do people actually beleive the farmers almanac?

National weather service- still not sure about el nino or la nina and say pretty much the entire continent has equal chances(for temps and precip). Im moving to tahoe so i hope they get slammed all winter long.

i heard Tahoe is supposed to get 10 feet in October, then a month of sun and temps in the 50's, then starting in december they will receiver 4 foot dumps every other weekend. and there will no longer be no such thing as overcast, it's either dumping or sunny.
