Next Level of Editing.

Ok, so I have been editing a few short edits of skateboarding and skiing. But nothing serious, and they kinda come out pretty shitty and boaring cuz i have no software to work with, i have just been using Windows Movie Maker *Witch limits me very much*

Does anybody know of any free editing software that is better than Windows Movie Maker?

Also if you have any raw footage u wanna send it my way so i can practice my editing skillz? I got no footy at my house right now.

Final cut if they hav it for windows i dno if they do

I dont normally do this but its all i can rly think of right not sooo....

look around in the media & arts section. I've seen a lot of helpfull ppl there when it comes to videos and editing

mac users usually edit with final cut

pc's usually use adobe premiere or sony vegas

you cant really get an editing program for free unless if you download it illegally though

this is free.. but definitely not legal. look into torrents. try to get either adobe premiere pro, or sony vegas.

I think Adobe Premier is probably the best Windows program. im not too sure cause i use Final Cut. but i know a few guys that use Adobe and After Effects

if you wanna taking editing seriously having a good camera is really important, and you can make really good looking edits with windows movie maker. Obviously using final cut or premiere broaden what you can do, and it's worth upgrading, but keep in mind that making a good edit has a lot to do with the quality of the footage, you can make a classy edit with just fades and normal transitions.

Also do some edits with like, a ghost following me, if you know what i mean.

Or have one frame going at the same time as the other frame, the camera would be on a Tripod so the angle would be exactly the same, but i would be hitting the left side of the kicker on one slide, and the right side of the kicker on the other side

adobe premire elements is a sick program, easier to use than sony vegas, but vegas has better effects and all that fancy shit. both can be found on Vuze
