Has anyone heard any names mentioned regarding who will suceed William Rehnquist? I know he/she is going to be extremely conservative, but I have yet to hear a name.

.

i hear that it will be Jesus, or someone with roughly that level of religious piety.

Mercy's eyes are blue

When she places them in front of you

Nothing holds a roman candle to

The solemn warmth you feel inside

No idea. The supreme court decision will be a decisive one, because if the seat goes very conservative then republicans will be able to get a lot of new measures past no matter what the democrats want to say.

Yeah that is what I was thinking, if we have everything else conservative then where is this nation going. I personally would not want everything either way because as many Republicans would agree I am not Conservative acroos the board, and as most Democrats would agree I am not Liberal across the board.

There may be as many as four seats opening this term.

Why I ask this is because there are a few potential monumental changes in the politics with these potential appointments. Bush is pushing for an overturning of Roe v. Wade and several other things which will no longer make this a free country.

probably the judicial activist justices (the more liberal) will try to stick out their seats for another 4 years so that bush can't get one of his conservative buddies the spot... Under life and good behavior.

And as we proceed,

To Mosh through this desert storm,

In these closing statements, if they should argue

Let us beg to differ

As we set aside our differences

And assemble our own army

To disarm this Weapon of Mass Destruction

That we call our President, for the present

And Mosh for the future of our next generation

To speak and be heard

Mr. President, Mr. Senator

Do you guy's hear us...hear us...
