Next edit help need some tips (SKATE EDIT)

so first off i know its not a perfect edit its my first skate edit in awhile, i just want some thought on what i should do with my next edit.
i just kinda threw this one together, DID NOT GIVE THOUGHT TO SONG i know its annoying give me some good vibe mellow song you might think i could use and maybe some editing/filming pointers for my next skate edit. (i also forgot my tripod this day i wont next time) +K as always
 
wasn't terrible (not commenting on the song though, like you said you put no thought into it)
but try to organize your clips a little bit, kinda of like how you'd write a book. Get people interested with some previews in the beginning, then filler, then some more sick stuff, then close it off with a banger. People always remember the first and last thing they saw, rarely is it in the middle. and try syncing more stuff, like the initial impact of the grind and the landing of the same clip. I'm also super adhd about syncing the switching of clips with the music, just makes sense to me.

when you are filming with a fisheye you want be below your subject and aim up at them.
 
add slow zooms with cuts and maybe make it HD oh and dont forget the dolly. Is that the requirement for videos now? Super dumb
 
i havnt read through the thread so some of these might have already been said.

add more steady shots or tripod shots.

use the fisheye to your advantage. get right in there on the quarterpipe or midway down the stairset.

use some smooth transitions like fade and such to make it look cleaner.

other than that i thought it was fine.
 
You're right, because filming shakey ass fisheye lines with steady shot on and nasty ass black vignating bouncing everywhere looks fucking fantastic. The video isn't even watchable because all he did was point the camera up and ride around next to his buddy. Stop trying to film like every other kid films skating.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but shit.......... Take off the fisheye and work on shot composition.
