Ok, so basically school was normal until 2nd period. About halfway through 2nd period the assistant principal came over the intercom and called for a lockdown. We all assumed they brought the drug dogs in for a search and didn't think anything of it. Ok, so now its 3rd period and we're still in lockdown, so we're all like "whats goin' on? this is no drug search." The teachers recieve an e-mail that says "potentially dangerous situation". So now we're all like WTF IS GOIN ON!? Now kids are texting kids and what not, and we find out it has something to do with kids with guns in or around the school, but no one knows for sure. My 2nd period class is on the 2nd floor and we looked out the window and saw like an entire department of polic cars burn in. A guy steps out wearing full body armour and is holding an assault rifle. Everyone's very uneasy at this point.
Some kids make some more texts and find out some info. It turns out that there are kids out in the back of the school with guns. The first floor was evacuated into the auditorium, as were the 2nd story classrooms on the side with the gunmen. So we're just chillin in my 2nd period class and all these cops are showin up. They barricade the school road. Everyone was jokin around but there was an uneasiness in the air, because no one knew exactly what was goin down. Now news stations are showing up, 4 in all, so we know its big.
Fast forward 5 periods, and we're still in lockdown, and the situation is continually getting more sketchy. We found out that there was a kid at the Vo-Tec (the trade school that our school has a program with) has a gun also, and they're in lockdown. Eventually we find out that two kids had called their parents this morning, said they hated them and that they were gonna shoot up the school and then kill themselves. They had robbed a local gun store that morning and stole two hunting rifles. The problem is that no one knows where they are. They never came to school.
Around 5th period, a few kids and i were lookin out the window and saw some kid bust out of a module and run for it. We're not sure if he was involved, but he sure as hell ran like he was.
OKAY, so it turns out that we were in lockdown ALL day and we had to be like escorted to our buses bus by bus. There was swat everywhere like guarding the buses. Tactical 10 gauges, assault rifles....you get the point. They're afraid that they're gonna randomly ambush the school on a later date, because they're missing and armed.
