Newspaper reporter seeks street jibbers

Hi,

I'm a reporter with a national newspaper and I'm working on a skiing story. How early in the season do skiers start setting up jumps in urban areas - things like hitting rails in urban office parks or jumping stairs? I'd like to fly out somewhere and observe - maybe send a photographer? Anyone interested?

If you're a legitimate reporter, there are MUCH better ways of finding skiers. A wall street journal writer should have little problems in contacting a few team managers. Find a few ski companies, then email/call their team managers for some info. Google really is your best friend, and finding contact info for a few companies might take you half a day.

talk to an up coming company like 4frnt or liberty. get some of their guys. that way you promote their skis too.
