There would only be like one clip per person but I guess it could work if you had a master editor or something working the film. The problems with this idea is sorting out literally many many hours of footy for the clips that are even usable. As in getting clips with the right light and quality to be used. I mean let's try it because there is no harm in trying something.

wouldn't it be easier to do the sorting i sections, like all the people of one area send their footy to one place, they pick out the best and send it to a second guy, who picks out the best and then sends it to the final editor.

its going to be something like that as far as organization goes, we'll see, just trying to get the best amatuer editors involved too.
