Just received my NS collab hoodie and I thought i'd drop a thread since I couldn't find any info about it before buying it:
So first off, I was looking for some pretty baggy hoodie, and since it's ans NS collab and it even says on evo.com "long fit: did you expect an NS hoodie to not be long fit?" I thought xxl was gonna be huge on me, but still went for it. Well, really surprised, it is xxl and it doesn't even reach mid thigh...I'm 6 foot tall
So apart from the length which is quite disappointing (it's only 8cm longer than my Full Tilt hoodie size L) there are quite a few good points about it:
-Really light but warm, nice fleece fabric inside
-The overall quality seems rather good for an rather good price (I got mine on amazon for 38$ or so, but had around 40% discount for some reason)
-The "bomber black fabric" (u know stretchable stuff) gives a nice feel and look, keeps wrist and "waist" tight.
-It looks good (that's only my opinion tho, and the reason i bought it (; )
Other downsides:
-The pockets don't close, and they're pretty loose, wouldn't put anything in them while skiing
-The hoodie closes only with button/clips, no zipper, might let quite a bit of wind inside
Oh and the Llama and sporks are awesome!
I'll update this thread after I've skied a few days with it!
(and if you're considering getting it as a long hoodie cos you're less than 6 foot tall, xxl might be way too long on the arms, they're a good 10cm too long for me, although the bomber black stretchy stuff keeps the sleeves from going over the hands)
