As many of you know @shelbskis and I met on Newschoolers and now we're in the process of getting married. Thanks to the help of all the wonderful people on here we would like to extend an invite to whoever wants to come and also have NSG choose the destination.

So where should we get married?

What's the budget? Are we talking $10k wedding or $300k wedding? If money is no object, rent out some small ski area for a weekend. Just you, your guests, and employees to keep the lifts running.

What if we all went to a random staircase in a park, take Jamal rail for example but it has to have rails on both sides and you guys have to hit each side simultaneously in a wedding dress and tux

Congratulations! Have a wonderful wedding and a happy marriage. I think better you decide where to get married, it's your wedding and you have to make it perfect because it's one of the most memorable and priceless moments of your life. At least, for me, it was so. We had a small wedding, in a restaurant on the beach. We invited only the closest friends and relatives, rented a sound gear and a friend helped to hire event lighting and we had a wonderful wedding. So, it's your choice where to celebrate this important event in your life.

Im on board with renting a ski hill. It would be like 36 hours of Keystone but NS members only. That sounds fun as shit actually.
 
Congrats! When are you thinking of getting married?

I like the ski hill idea for a winter wedding. Summer wedding you can do it up at Timberline on Hood.

They're not taking me back. I'm gonna take my four kids and the van and we'll live out of that until the wedding venue is decided

If i gave up a days dose of my methadone i could split it up and get about 25 people as high as they would be on 2 vicodins except it would last about 8 hrs. I gave a few of my friends at my last princeton reunions a small part of a days dose and they said they felt great for the entire day. I bought a dosing syringe from cvs so i could measure out the exact right amount of liquid from one of my days doses to give them. They knew if i gave one of them an entire days dose they would be stone fucking dead but they didnt even worry because they trusted me. Its kind of fun to be a responsible friend and know you have the power to keep your friends safe when doing dangerous things. I dont really have much sympathy for idiots that either od themselves or lead their friends to od because they didnt think about being diligent and careful. One of my high school friends who went to a shitty college called Southern Methodist University had one of his frat brothers go full retard and chew up and swallow a whole fucking fentanyl patch and die. I kind of wanted to tell him “thats why nobody confuses SMU for Princeton—that shit just doesnt happen at princeton”.

Sorry if that sounds bigoted but the truth is bigoted sometimes.

When my buddy got married his best man told a painfully long story about something he did with the groom years ago when he was dating his previous GF. The bride was so mad, it was an 11/10 cringe.

It sounds so exciting, congratulations.

In general, organizing a wedding is very difficult and I can say this from my own experience.

When I had to organize my wedding there were so many details that I had to think about in advance and make perfect so that my head exploded. I was lucky with my sister who helped me a lot. Because of her, we had a special wedding and the surprise from her was that she turned tohttps://www.ontourevents.co.uk/wedding-events-services without me knowing and this company made us a special evening full of beautiful surprises.

If I could go back in time, I would relive that wonderful day again and again.

Back on topic tho. Playa del carmen is great. Its right south of cancun and there are tons of resorts with good wedding deals. My cousin got married there and it was great. All included drinks all week and we all were stumbling around in mystery time drunk as fuck.

cabo is nicer but prob a bit more expensive
