I am pissed at the people that say they sold out. What the crap. These were guys who paid out of their own pocket to host stupid videos and pictures of kids they had never met, eating up bandwidth and time of the mods; and doing it all in the name of Freesking for kids they have never met. Props to you guys who still keep it going from someone who has been on a few years. Don't feel bad about a little advertising and publicity. You deserve to put a some cash in your pocket, if that is what people are complaining about. Well done.

Getting money for ads wasn't what the whole selling out deal was originally about, and the quote never actually even used those words. I think they've done a pretty good job of keeping only sponsors most people would want sponsoring the site on board. Getting money wasn't really what it was about... nobody is denying that servers cost $.
