Oh and brock the reason there were shadows of that loop is because there is another ceiling light that I have on pointing basically straight down.

So, ClydeFrog... Either this whole thing has been a photoshop or...I am in fact an ignorant dick and you in fact are equally as good as the other examples you have posted and you belong in a museum along with the other people... or its been photoshopped.

Alright Mr. Troll! Let me prove to everyone that he is a fucktard.

I used jpeg snoop to see if he edited it like i suspected. and...(read the last line)

your acting like its almost impossible to have overlapping wire that forms a shadow like that when the light's at a certain angle. It's time consuming and probably a bitch yeah but with time and patience I'm sure the OP could have accomplished something like this..

so because I used photoshop to crop it means it's all photoshopped? am i gunna have to make a fucking video of this shit tomorrow cuz people like u are starting to piss me off

Oh my fuck you are as fucking dumb as corey and trevor!

You can prove it to me by posting a picture that you don't fucking edit at all!

Besides you did the shittiest cropping job. your trying to tell me you opened it in photoshop cs3 to crop it to look like that piece of shit

ASSESSMENT: Class 2 - Image has high probability of being processed/edited

So it's still possible. and frankly i still don't believe it. If its true than you are fucking amazing. and you should have your shit in a museum. sell it for a couple grand.

GEEZUS!!!! I just took that straight off my camera, there's nothing else I can do. Up to you to believe me or not, I'll have another piece done hopefully by this weekend so you can stalk that one for me too thanks.

Okay your photos prove that there is no NS on top of your sculpture. But software proves you have edited the photos. What I don't see, compared to the other examples, is anything at all that lends to the shadow. The "@" one: the lines are in the shape of the shadow (curved, etc). The mouse one: you can pick you parts that you can see in the shadow. Yours: NOTHING looks anything remotely close to the possible shape of the NS logo. Also. A lot of the shadow of the twisted wire is reflected right onto the table below it. This proves your light sourceis close and high above the sculpture. Then, the shadow doesn't make sense. It is physically impossible, considering the clues the shadow of the twisted wire gives us, for the shadow of the NS logo to be that large. Also, where the NS begins and where the wire ends (in the shadow) is a blurry section. I'm no expert, but looking at every photo, it seems blatantly clear to me that this cannot be real. /thread

This, or a video. A video would end it once and for all. If you fail to procure a video this is definitely a troll..

I'm over this. if you read anything you would know that there are 2 light sources which is why there are shadows below it as well. quote frankly I am tired of having to justify myself, it is in my basement and all are welcome to come see it (preferably in a bikini for u Katie). I've taken multiple pictures and have shown that it was not a cutout and now it's photoshopped? i really could care less anymore, believe me or not thats up to you, i will have a new piece done hopefully by this weekend and could really use all of your opinions if it is real or not.

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhaha. Max ur officially the winner. I have some anon goggles and stickers to give away, PM me. Lolol. And for the rest of you (well most of you)...successful troll is SUPER successful. Grats bro. hahahhahahaha

meh, I don't believe it either. Looks like you have another light sourcce with a ns die cut stuck to the front. If the wire cast that shadow just six inches or so from the sculpture the shadow would be crisp just like the one under the ball o wire. the fuzzy edges of the ns look to me like the shadow is coming from an object farther away like a light with a sticker stuck to the front.

the other examples are pretty awesome though.

Oh and here's how I did it.

The first two photos I made a cutout of an ns logo, however it was not attatched to a ball of wire. I taped this logo onto a ziblock bag (b/c of the transparancy) and then just had this hanging flat over the paper. I then had a light source beaming directly down on it to produce the wire's shadows and the ns shadow together.

When you guys wanted more pics, however, that was a little more tricky. For the "proof" picture I just put a source of light behind it, but covered the bulb so it looked like it was shining but did not actually produce a shadow. I then just took a picture of the wire ball sitting on the paper and did some not so crafty photoshop work to make the shadow.

The first two were real shadows, the last one photoshop. Even though the shadow was not cast from the wire ball it is still cool looking art nevertheless.

so wait, you trolled us and were continually proven to be a troll, but only this was enough?

and you did this whole thing to give away goggles and stickers?

You must be some sorta stupid.

But you didn't dooooo anything to earnnnnn them. I need to think of another "contest" or something. If nobody else wants them by the end of the day then you can have em forsure. If anybody else wants them make a funny post or something and at the end of the day I'll just pick who gets them based on that.

taj. make another post that makes me laugh so you're still in the running, just in case.

oh and +k to everyone who believed it was real cuz that's kinda funny, and +k to everyone who didn't because you were right

this is true, but I was kinda waiting for some "proof" tho, the wires were in completely diffrent positions in the pictures max discovered. many other people had valis points such as yours...ill consider it though

That was hardly successfull troll. You had a page and a half of people doubting that it was real. Not very succesfull in my opinion.

I pegged you for having a cut out on the front of your light source, just sayin. I don't need any goggles though.

Very nice that you brought some light to this artform for the rest of us though.

hahaha this. great thread, i was thoroughly entertained

obro or whoever posted the "what trolls want you to believe" picture, youre retarded, that picture is very appropriate sometimes but this was not an argument or something, he was clearly trolling from the start..

This guy is next level.

Date Sent: Jun 22 2011 02:42:26 - (read)ClydeFrog --> Brock.$new pic is up bro! and no worries, i wouldn't have believed it was real either especially without the full picture (i should have analyzed it better before my orig post)
