Have you heard of shadow art? It's a very unique and modern form of sulptural art where 2D shadows are cast by 3D scluptures. By using diffrent light sources and sculptural formats, these shadows can seem amazingly impossible. If you have never seen this type of art here are some awesome examples:

I finally just finished a new piece I have been working on for about 2 weeks. It is about a foot tall and uses two light sources, which helps cast out wanted shadows. The first light source is directly behind the sculpture and about 1/2 way up. The other is basically directly looking down on top of it, but is still a very little bit behind. Hope u likey, I'll be working on some more skiing related ones soon!
