i guess "getting beat like a circus monkey" isnt acceptable for school, and neither is we were getting our assed handed to us. soo i turn to the creative people of newschoolers for a similie that is OK to be used in a high school paper
 
We got beat like an unfaithful wife in a red state.

We got beat like a black man in a squad car.

We got beat like a minority child who talked back to pappy.

We got beat like a muslim at Guantanamo.

We got killed worse than Chris Benoit's family.

Any of those work for you? I really like the last one.

that was nothing, the day before he made a few from the 50 yard line, which would be 60 yard field goals, and i think he made one from the other sides 45. but yeah we got beat pretty bad, it was close for a while
