BRAAAAP BRAAAAAAAP!

yup 96 XR600R with a Baja Designs kit on her, plated with the knobbies is super fun although it is a little hard to get grip on the pavement. These bikes are bulletproof, the only real difference between the R and the L is the licensing and the gearing, the 650Ls do better running at highway speeds, although my 600 will still pump out to 75 mph

cool man, do you go on ADVrider? i'm starting to lurk on there. trying to find a bike that will give me a solid foundation for dirt riding before i take it up to the bigger dual sports and do some touring.

well seeing as it has a true RHD conversion I would say it is.

and it also has

@font-face {

font-family: "Cambria";

}p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; }

JDM Spec-b STi RA 5 speed transmission and a JDM STi Spec-b 2.0 Motor.

that doesnt mean the car itself is jdm. The kit is jdm. Thats like me buying a set of apexi jdm coilovers and then saying my whole car is jdm

and nevermind about coilovers, my friend just gave me tein s tech springs fo free sucka. Im know deciding if ill wait till after winter to put them on or not

Soon to be my new whip. MK2 4 door. Just running a 1.8 8v right now. This winter I plan on prepping and partially building a 16v for a turbo, for a swap right away in the spring. Not planning on doing any bodywork, kinda going for a ratty look. Gonna get a different roof rack eventually, and gonna get it on some sort of 13s.
purchasing from NS member and good friend BNik.

oh god why RHD? Just for the look at me cool factor? Anyone who's ever driven a car with the steering wheel on the wrong side knows what a worthless hassle it is. In a wrx you're passing cars all the time, the RHD just ruins it. Aside from that though it is a pretty cool frankenstein mobile.

depending on my income over winter, i might start some sort of build thread on Eurowerks(a local Euro car scene forum.) ill keep you guys up to date in this thread.

check out www.saablink.net

its the best site for info where you dont coem across your typical "snaabs" haha, i drive an 00 93 base 5speed 185hb, used to whip a 97 9000cs 5speed/T.

o and if your modding it a good bit might be easier to find a manual car already unless youre gonna do a 5spd swap.

if you wanna keep it clean/stock, go for spg panels, spg springs for a slight drop, or some aftermarkets for a lower stance* and genuinesaab.com has an awesome selection of parts/upgrades, def worth checking out.

and DEF keep it for a winter beater if you plan on it, or store/sell it and dont get it all rusty/salty and keep it mint if its in that good of condish.

* saabs cant be stanced like dubs, but its as close as we can get lol.

you should wait for sure to put them on and the only reason i say wait is because you should reallllllyy buy different struts/shocks whatever you want to call them for the your car. s-techs are nice but stiff and will blow out your stock struts pretty fast. I would honestly say save money and get a set of coilovers for sure.

Only thing is, a guy that has built a couple different wrx's and sti's is telling me that I'm gonna have to corner balance my car with coilovers with is pretty much an extra grand on top of like 2500 coilovers, for right now I'm just looking for a nice little drop at the moment
