all wheel drive bimmers suck and i love BMW's

my dad has a 335 and i have a 77' 2002 but if i wanted an all wheel drive luxury sports car id buy an audi because for some reason BMW's system is a piece.

its still a sick car though
 
Eh, Subarus (while being alot cheaper) have a much more functional AWD system. It might not be as advanced, but it works best.

Not all subaru's have the same awd system. My wrx has gotten stuck in snow with one front and one rear wheel spinning.
 
Yes, your WRX doesnt have VDC which is what the video is illustrating. However, your Subaru will still do better than an Audi or VW.

And how have you gotten your WRX stuck? In the 4 subes I have owned, not one has ever been stuck stuck. Ive always been able to wiggle it out somehow.
 
got my evo running on e85 now haha much cheaper and rates around 105 octane. making almost 700hp on that shit.
 
with the same thought, why was Audi left out of the Subaru's Test???

and before you say that 4motion is just rebadged Quattro, the tester even talked about how the VW system was an asymmetrical system, why did they not try a symmetrical quattro system since only Audi's using the haledex system use transversely mounted engines, all other Audi's use a longitudinally mounted symmetrical system? hmmm

See you'll find both sides use biased marketing to show that they are the best system out there. Both Audi and Subblaru make wonderful AWD cars, why don't we leave it at that.

 
Nice, did you refurbish it yourself/someone else/just looks that good?What is it, a 75? I have a soft spot for the 70s rays even though they are a wee bit slow.
 
Bought it like that, practically stole it actually. I've done nothing but speakers. And cut the cat and ran straight pipes into flowmaster welded mufflers.

76 eh? And you got it for a steal... Sounds like a dream come true... ah, but... is it auto? And hey, it's not like we can utilize cars being fast anyway except for passing. And if you put straight pipes on no effin wonder its loud. Do you wake everyone in the hood up at night? haha. I know a fair bit about vettes... the boy has a 93, and I spent a long time looking for it because my tree fell on his 84 and we were lookin for a suitable replacement haha... although I usually stick to my subaruuuus.

I have to say, having driven a couple skylines that I am not thaaaat floored by them, Sure they are fast and decent cars but they are not up to the hype they get. My silvia is faster than all but the GTR and I pretty much like everything about it more than the skyline considering they are made by the same manufacturer.
 
Good! I asked because that's usually why the rays go for cheap - when they are autos - or at least is often a factor. That and when the frame is rusted to shit and they try to paint over it so you don't notice... puke. And if you don't give a hoot about numbers matching you can also find great deals! woo! /end excitement
