my dad has a 73 datsun 240z in not to bad shape right now its all stock except for dual webber carbs..ill be taking it off his hands sometime soon and most likely putting a 2.6 liter triple carbed engine out of a 260 in it then taking the turbo route..good bye money for the next three years
 
The biggest ski I can fit in there is a 169, and it has almost no room. I get shitty mileage, but o well. Its rear wheel drive, and im fucked in the snow. I can have only 1 passenger, but hey, I look fucking good doing it.

That Giant bike worth over 8 grand? where you pullin these facts from? You can buy a specialized bike (probably 5 times as nice) for probably less then half of that.

thats your main problem, you made a offer, that car is easely worth $10,500. $2500 in the system, $2200 in wheels and suspension, $4000 in the engine.

Its all in the eye of the beholder. I find the A4s a bit small for me.

I have my eye on an A6 2.7T with a GIAC, Intake, Exhaust, and H&Rs.

Reading the description, I am curious as to why he demodded it from the gt3071 though. Yea, it was running without a MAF, but there are work arounds that would allow it to be a more than reliable daily driver. To whoever bought it, be careful, if he ran it lean and there was damage to the rings, you could be in for a headache down the road. I would immediatly do a leakdown test on the engine to make sure you didnt get a ticking time bomb.

Also, the need for new motor mounts gives away the fact that the car was not babied. A 1.8t running s4 motor mounts should not kill them.

Watch out dude. Im a previous dub owner, and while I loved my car when it ran, I will never go back. To much small shit went wrong.
 
you mean "FTL" ? and as to the reply, ahahahahaha, thats pretty funny. For one thing, cars with a live rear axle can handle as well as cars with IRS. The only downfalll is bumpy roads. But nobody goes driving the cars throught he middle of the woods. And I could care less about the handling, when in a straight line most car couldnt step up to the plate. And finaly, every porsche, audi, subaru, corvette, w/e we "my dad and i, his car handle sbetter than mine" have been behind, cannot corner as fast as us, and most people freak out and almost loose it through the corners when were riding their bumpers.
 
hahaha please. your mustang is not even on the same level as a porsche. it's not even on the stepping stone to that level man. don't get me wrong mustangs are nice cars for their price although i've never been a fan, but the two just don't compare.
 
too bad its a mustang, and there ugly and shitty and dont compare the the lingenfelter corvette or the hennesey or acr viper
 
derrrrrr,but for fairly cheap( for what you get) they do compare, ie: RWD+ same pricerange is say a G35, ill take the mach1 faster, slightly worse handling, not as nice interior. but for the price the performance kicks ass, and they look pretty decent too
 
Built right, a live axle can compete with an independent rear.

Z06- .92g on a skid

Cobra R - .90g

Match the HP and it will be a drivers race. Not a handling race.
