I swear to god this is my car haha....I put all my money from highschool through frosh year of college and 2 yrs of time into building it. I was an engineering student (my dad is cheif mechanical engineer for an aerospace company - he helped A LOT) but I switched to med. I welded and fabricated all the parts myself.
 
There are a few videos from the buildup, but we still need to film it on the road. You can't believe how it drives and the sound it produces. It's insane. Wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I played with a c63 AMG on the highway the other day haha... Saw him in my mirror so slowed down to 40. He was in the next lane so when we were next to each other (he was going faster than me at this point) downshifted to 2nd and instantly caught him. He saw what was up so hit it. We took it to about 90 then backed off. Remember that even though it has 460ish hp it weighs 3720lbs so our power to weight was actually pretty similar. It was fun.

1st gear you can't put the throttle down more than about half, 2nd gear is incredible cuz you get thrown back in the seat and it takes you to about 70, still get wheel spin in 3rd and the same pinned to the seat feeling. Haven't gone hard through 4th, 5th or 6th but I can only imagine haha....

I got a vanity plate that says E30-LS1 so if you know your stuff then you know what's up. Also, I rebadged it 357 instead of 325. It sounds wild too. I had to make a fully custom exhaust and the sound is unbelievable. Definitely a sleeper.
 
Yeah just exhaust, big front mount (obviously hahah), and a wastegate. I have a piggyback and returnline to go on it but i dont think i'm putting it in because i'm selling it this spring and getting the 2010 hyundai genesis coupe.

i thought srt4's came stock with a big(enough) FMIC? also sick cars, ive always liked them despite being neons haha. and the genisis is a sick car too, but youre probally gonna drop a few bucks upgrading like that.
 
dude EVERYONE exaggerates the price of their bike when they sell it, trust me. your pro friend just told you it was worth 8 grand cause he knew youd believe it. its true, you have no real idea of how much its worth, you don't even know the componentry, jsut that its a giant pro bike.
 
right, okay, you keep on believing that. the fact that i can buy an aluminium bike that weighs like 10 pounds for $5000 at the bike shop here pretty much solidified my trust that my carbon fibre bike that weighs less than a pound is worth at least $8000. i would suggest you hit up a bike shop yourself before you tell me i've been duped.
 
no one cares, make a differentthread, stop bitching in here. also sweet bike, butit sounds like you dont need/deserve it. you said you barley ride, but "need an 8000$ bike"? kinda messed up IMO but if youve got the money, flaunt it....

i would like to put it out there that my friends dad spent upwards of 50,000 on his custom bike he built it buy hand it ways less then a few pounds and is full carbon fiber pimped out i dont have pics but ive talked to the guy about it and some people are just insane

hey k rob.... this bike is not worth 8000$, and it definately does not weigh 14 ounces.......I am an avid cyclist ( i compete) and i know what i'm talking about. You keep saying that you can buy a 5000$ aluminum bike.....well yes you can. that has nothing to do with your bike being 8000$. ANd the fact that you think that bike weighs under one pound?! you obviously do not know what you are talking about!
 
Running on veggie oil at the moment. Has a new high-flow intake and I'm about to straight pipe it, put stacks on, get larger injectors and turn up the fuel pump till it's raining soot.
