Did you swap the stock catted uppipe for a catless one when you replaced the turbo? The cat in the stock uppipe is a ticking time bomb. Eventually it will fail, and shards of cat will be sucked through your turbo and destroy it.
I replaced my td04 with a newer one with less shaft play because I didn't have the funds after rebuilding to go with an upgraded turbo. The stock td04 is often overlooked, especially if your car is just a DD and you aren't chasing numbers. With a tune it can push 18 psi before becoming a hair dryer. It may have no top end power but it will spool quicker than just about anything else.

04 Forester xt. Bought it in july with 112k miles. Sadly it is an automatic but I am planning on swapping the trans, diff, hubs, axles, turbo, IC, Up pipe, ECU, and fuel pump with all STI parts this summer. The trans and diff may have to wait a lil longer than that cause I'm in school right now and on a tight budget. Love the car, got it for a great price. I live in salt lake and its perfect for whipping up the canyons in the snow. Really the only complaint I have about the car is that its not great on gas. If anyone knows of a place around the salt lake area where i can get STI parts please let me know!

Sold my evo x for a nice profit bought a Forester xt for deals now I need to sell my 99 forester so I can have the right chunk of change to pick up the right evo 9. Life's going great for having a broken hip. Just been selling my cars for bank and picking up steals. Will post up a photo of both foresters since I haven't contributed them to this yet.

Got the forester protuned a couple weeks back and it's running better than ever. Still needs some odds and ends to be perfect. My tuner couldn't get the stock boost controller to push past 15psi so I gotta get a new EBCS so I can turn that boost up to 18-19psi. Also need a knock sensor cause mines all crystallized and giving me (what I hope) is just false knock.
Oh and I hit a snowbank on saturday night and tore my passenger front fender liner out. I'm debating replacing it with a cut-to-size piece of a trash can rather than pay for the overpriced OEM shitty thin piece of plastic.
