Brothers s70 is actually fucking sick. Lowered on BC coils, t16 turbo (upgrading to t18 when he can afford the parts car), turboback exhaust, wrx front lip, stage 2 tune. He doesn't have the money now to put his Mishimoto intercooler on but maybe within the next month or so. I haven't been stoked on a car in a while but he did it. And since he's losing his license I get to drive it at wolfsgart in august to show it off #stoked.

Haven't been on NS in a while, but I bought an '05 Forester 2.5x three weeks ago and sold my previous car, which was a ZJ, for $1700.

So now that I have a "real" job I'm gonna start saving for a new whip. So far I have my eyes set on two; Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT or Volvo s60r ( preferably 2005+). Basically need a AWD car as per condition of my new place and these two would be ideal.

Rallycrossed my Crv at a team oneil public event about a month ago, $20 for 2 runs turned into 6-7 since they didnt care, bone stock no gravel/snow tires on it....never doing it again in this car, if you notice youll see just a little body roll

that looks pretty fun lol I miss having cars like that to play in

my best friend got a pathfinder and we used to quite literally rally the fuck out of it. we almost flopped it one day but a tree managed to break the car and my heads fall down a rather large embankment upsidedown

My brother and I "rally" our cars down the dirt roads that are near our house. It's fun as fuck but after seeing the pictures I decided I'll slow it down more in the corners so I don't roll. One day I'll have a car with a lower center of gravity

True but I don't care enough to mod it since the only action it sees is graded roads going no more than 70mph. My parents also would be confused and annoyed if I nodded it after the past few years of seeing my brother stressed out so much from building his Eclipse

Oh no doubt lol I could feel it. it was pretty much 3 wheeling on one of the corners, the hairpin was an understeer catastrophe it was tight and I had to take it wide and slow through the chop
 
What's a good way to make a 2010-2013 Outback look "not-lame"?

I'm planning to buy one in the next few months, they have everything I need in a car... but I'm not a fan of the exterior one bit.
 
Next weekend may just be the best weekend ever...or the worst. Plan on getting a new ( still used) car. First time financing. Any advice about dealing with the salesman? The car is about 1,000 over priced compared to KBB...

Oh and titus, you will be specifically jealous.

Nah pay it off first haha! Bro told me the down pipes are super restrictive so that's probably the first serious mod. Don't want to ruin the adaptive chassis so I'll probs leave the coils for later on. Eventually tune, full exhaust, bigger interooler, lip kit, roof rack, fuck I have so many plans haha

Double post DGAF

My FXT is under the knife right now. Previous owner took every shortcut possible with this car and now stuck I'm fixing all his mistakes. He replaced the timing belt but not the tensioners and pullies, replaced the turbo with some non-stock strange turbo that's got some drag and a cracked wastegate (source of my overboosting problem), he was running a catless exhaust on an OTS tune, plus all kinds of silly little things like the ABS and brake lines just dangling from the suspension.

Good news is I'm dropping in a brand new STI short-block from Subaru, rebuilding the bottom end, and replacing the mystery turbo. Really tempted to find a vfxx to get closer to the STI feel but I'm already wayyy over budget. Should be done just in time for pre-season killy and sunday river trips!

Just embrace looking like a soccer dad. I love my outback so far. However, I am going to be putting some beefier tires and wheels on it when my current tires go bad.
