Holy shit....At least everywhere else gets cool cars like citroens, renaults and peugeots..

Hah! When you see somebody driving something like a ferrari you know the are packing insane amounts of money.. Saw an Aventador the other day.. 1.2 million bucks in denmark.. All cars are like super small and shitty

Have you ever seen the citroen ds3, renault megane rs, and the peugot 205, 206, 207 or 208 gti? pretty badass hatchbacks.

Thats awesome, I mostly love the hatchbacks for rallying and would love to see them start appearing here for Rally America. Plus hot hatches just seem like to much fun.

Ugh. Ordered parts from a dealership earlier in the week. I went in today to pick them up and they were never ordered and didn't have any record of me ordering them. At least they didn't charge my card (that I gave them) and the parts weren't important? Also, the lady who helped me today was awesome. Frustrating, seeing as how the dealership is a couple hours away.

that sucks, when i buy oem crap i have it sent to the dealership to save on shipping. i always have to call to make sure the parts are in because they never give me any updates and it's impossible to tell from their online system

had to do it again this week, here's my latest score:

Just finished this bad bitch. Only a few more break in miles then its time to put her on the dyno and see what she puts out.

Such excite.

There's really too much to list but It's got a built motor, full ETS rotated kit with a Garrett 3076r, all necessary fuel/air/cooling/electical supporting modifications, interior swap, $4500 in sound upgrades, Endless zeal track coilovers with Whiteline supporting suspension mods, full 6 speed swap, and so much more. It'll be on a dyno within the next few weeks, I'll post up my numbers and pics then. Shooting for a conservative 450awhp on a low reading dyno.

I got tuned yesterday...

Made 272/315 and the car feels great. Stock 2015 on this dyno makes ~215. Just waiting on my intercooler to come in, then I'll do some TGV deletes and I should be good for a while.

the last few weekends this is what i've been up to, it SHOULD have been a 1 day job but i stretched it out to 2 weekends because i'm slow and have no idea what i'm doing and i had to wait for some parts.

i started this job to fix an oil leak, front and rear valve cover gaskets. this is the furthest i've been into tearing things down.

once valve covers removed, i went ahead and cleaned them up as best as i wanted to:

after:

cleaned up the uim/lim interface:

new gaskets cause i broke the old ones oops:

replaced spark plugs while i was in there:

pcv hoses were brittle as fck and broke when i took them off so i ordered replacements, which is why this project really dragged out so long. napa tried to give me some gm crap that didn't fit.

lBepQQs.jpg

splurged on some sweet valve stem caps while i was buying dealership crap

EOOzy0n.jpg

all in all this is the most advanced work i've done on the car. confidence is building and i'm glad it all fired up and ran flawlessly the third time i tried

today i installed a rear sway bar. found one on amazon for $cheapish listed in "used" condition. looked pretty fresh when it came out of the box.

had to modify some of the brackets to work, nbd

i had a lqtm moment when everything was cleaned up and i was going to put the jack back under the axle to remove jack stands

Sure you will.

Four wheel drive means nothing without tires. The second most common vehicle to see in the ditches around here is a lifted truck. SUVs are the most common. Just because you have 4-wheel go, doesn't mean you have 4-wheel stop.

Oh I fully know that. I just dropped $1200 on new tires. I agree everyone thinks that u can 4 wheel stop to. It doesn't happen.

What kind of tires did you get?

Honestly Id just take any wrx/sti I could get my hand on...Unless an evo is up for grabs.

I wave to a guy with a lowered '14 hatch every day on my way to school, those things look so damn good

Not a fan of lowered cars but I agree, especially with some widebody, but past this its to low for me. Seen a few widebodys in southern NH that were just gorgeous

You have two pretty sweet builds. Must be nice to have a daily & a project car. I just can't get past this movement towards cambered wheels. Yours is not excessive, which I can appreciate, but anything beyond that is the car equivalent of a person having duck feet. It looks horrendous and you'll never be a great athlete with duck feet.

The 2012 is on 18x10's with 265/35/18's and the 04 is on 18x10.5's +18. It is a pure toy. 17psi producing 518whp. Finishing the breaking this spring to turn the boost up to 30-34psi.

That's unreal. Fully built block? What turbo?

2+mm long rod, sleeved, 9.5:1 compression ratio built block. Heads breath to 10k. Garrett GTX3586R T4 flanged twin scroll. Hits 17psi at 3800rpm.
