id ourself on the hill.

we should all do something to our poll (or anywhere on any article of our gear) at the same spot that is noticable to others so we can identifie those who are on ns. I don't know about you but if ever theres trouble on the hill id help out a fellow ns member anyday.

the motive of this motion is last season my friend got into trouble with some snowboarder cause he cut him off by accident..the snowboarder was much bigger and well i helped him but im sure other skiers would of too...hence we should be abel to help etchother out.

so i propose we have some sort of identification since we dont have ns stickers or anything. so heres the brainsotrm thread.

if you think the idea is gay just don't post and let the thread die.

yeah thatd be cool cept wed have to like get them for free or something cause a lot of people wouldnt want to pay like 3 bucks for shipping to get a little patch
 
i think u guys got it backwards, some skiers id them selves by bein on newschoolers, newschoolers dont id themselves by skiin, it is kinda a like wut came first, and not that many ppl ski in the world and ne one that does quite occasionally is on newschooler, and it would just be like the corpratization of freestyle/freeskiin
 
i dunno about all that.... there certainly a few N/S ers that i would lay out if they were identified
 
i think we should get like florecent pink tape, and everyone thats on ns should wrap that shit around one(or two) of thier poles, and only one person will need to pay for the shipping on the tape cas you can share it with the nigs at your mountain.
 
yeah how about we just stencil ns on the side of our helmets or something. it'd be easy and people would see it fairly easily.

a sticker would be easier, and if u wanted u could just marker in your sn
 
i liked the neon tape on the pole. everyone can get tape of some crazy color realitivly easily, and it would be like some kind of secret code. im going to wrap a pole with some kind of tape like that. just cause i want to.
 
we could combine bandana powers and sling shot shit at them.

we see someone with freeskiier logos or something and someone honks a horn that goes "NS UNITE" then everyone within earshot will chrge the man from all angles and kick them in the beans, then using different bandanas we either tie him up or blind him, then make our slingshot of death which will have ammunition consisting of jolly rancher candies midgets(little people, sorry)
 
what if we had a massive orange flag like little kids have on their bikes attached to the tails of both skis that said newschoolers.com
 
What about if every member just put their member name on their helmet with like letter stickers or white out or something...that would be pretty sick.
 
Yeah if I saw someone thats on newschoolers I could punch them in the face and theres about a 75 percent chance I'd be satisfied with my actions, judging by the people on this site.
 
that would work, but a neon tape would stick out more, like duct tape on black wouldnt work well
 
ithink its a pretty good idea, you could write it with sharpie or something on your skis or helmet.

yeah...i don't see why membership to an online skiing site should guarantee you elite priveledges over those not involved...quite frankly, i think i can generally judge the people involved with ns/the freeskiing community based on how they ski, not based on what they wear. if you really want to know if someone's on ns, just ask them.
 
the reason to identify with ns people in particular is because we're always talking t oeach other on here and to hang out in real life (not virtual life) would be interesting. and u cant just go up to random ppl and ask if "are u on ns?" because if they don't they'll just be like "wtf is wrong with child"

its like online predators meeting in chat rooms and then meeting in real life. it's all in good fun. those predators are misunderstood.

i mean anyone who skis is chill in my books but why not find out those who interact on ns and chill with them on the hill and not just over the computer..
 
^ im down with that however it should be a thin cut piece of tape cause if not it might look a bit stupied...and on witch pole left or right?
