ok guys, here is the deal. i have to choose by tommorow moring where to take my next ski vacation.

panema for 7 days during march break (less posibilities for powder, more people)

or kicking horse for like 5 maybe 6 days in febuary (less lines, maybe real cold)

i have never skiid at either of these places, nor have i been to alberta. so please newschoolers help me decide.

Kicking Horse is incedible if you catch the snow. But you have to go at the right time or you won't be able to truly experience it.

go to kicking horse in feb then for march break go to the beach. what do you want to see march break, a few girls in ski clothes or a million girls in bikins.

by panema do you mean panorama? because panorama sucks alot. and neither are in alberta, golden b.c. and invermere b.c. yeah, kicking horse is dope, unless you ski park. theres no park, but go for the POW, its wicked.

yeah i did mean panorama. that was a stupid mistake. and my dad told me that panorama and kicking horse were in alberta. ah shit now i look stupid. ah well our minds made up

A word of caution: Kicking Horse can have absolutely terrible conditions. In that case head to Fernie or Whitewater.

But hey you might get snow and then its like heli skiing.

i have two things to say:

1. planning a trip anything more then like a week in advance is foolish, if you plan a trip now for anywhere to go skiing and by the time you get there it's the worst winter they've ever had, well - you suck ass. why can't you wait till when you're taking the trip to plan it?

2. you do realize that kicking horse and panorama are both in B.C., not Alberta right? just to let you know.

yeah i know that now..my mistake.

and this sort of thing takes planning. i cant just drop things and go to bc. even if its not the greatest conditions, it will still be gold compared to ontario. and we can cancell it if needed.
