Great job guys, stoked to see big names like Ford and some name resorts advertising on the site. Also, the Google custom search is dope, looks like you can generate some revenue from adwords. Way to take advantage of all this traffic, it was a smart decision on your part.

Sure, punk youngsters are gonna say you sold out, but really, from a business standpoint, it was the thing to do. Keep taking advantage of all this traffic, the marketing potential is tremendous.

Let me know when you drop your IPO...

i dont like NS gettin bigger... i like the skiing companies advertising.. not the stupid random shit that you see new. like circuit city and lexus crap. as if anyone on here could just buy a lexus....

i only ever clicked on one advertisement and it was an accident and i was so pissed. i just lost my ns advertisement v card to netflix

guys sorry to say ns went corporate long ago. when studio 411 bought it it became corporate. And what the fuck is up with ads for republican governors?

couple years too late bud. but nah theyre still legit just need some money to keep it alive. last time i checked they were still trying to get all of us guys free schwag like stickers and lanyards and such. throwing up contests just for fun and everything else. i enjoy newschoolers

id rather limit it to ski related ads only and rely on member support through donations. i know thats probably nothing compared to what they currently generate in ad revenue, but i think it would make people that much more connected to the NS community. like now you can buy the $$ signs next to your name..lame. my biggest fear is NS turning into another snowboarding.com

are you seriously only noticing this now? WMG bought NS a while back.

FYI, here's a little info on the parent company:

- owns the LA Avengers (arena football)

- owns takkle.com (online network for highschool sports)

- manages the careers of the following athletes:

- Antawn Jamieson (Washington Wizards)

- TJ Ford (Indiana Pacers)

- Tracey McGrady (Houston Rockets)

- Dave Mirra (BMX)

- Chad Kagy (BMX)

- Jaime Bestwick (BMX)

- Ryan Nyquist (BMX)

- Eddie Wall (SNB)

- Todd Richards (SNB)

- Travis Rice (SNB)

- Tara Dakides (SNB)

- Ryan Sheckler (SK8)

- Bob Burnquist (SK8)

- Bucky Lasek (SK8)

- Randy Couture (MMA)

- Travis Pastrana (MotoX)

- Chad Reed (MotoX)

- used to own Studio 411

There's a huge list on their website but yeah, the corporate thing happened a while back but brought some great new changes to the site! ie MORE BANDWIDTH!!
