Newschoolers @ Crystal

Best bet for a nice area to build would be somewhere in the middle of the Green Valley lift line, but no guarantees on how much snow will be there. Another good place if you want to avoid the patrol is just outside the first Northback gate (bit of hiking involved). Good luck...give a shout out if you see me and CrystalineSkier

the less hiking the better but if there is a decent place to build I'll hike for sure. you keep naming off these places and i have no clue where they are. Look for the guys with towels and then show us the goods

Skiing is life, and without life, no one would be here. So everyone owes something to skiing.

why does it matter if they have a park or not? are all of you guys park rats or something. skiing is skiing

meh..

why don't they put a knife on a spork? doesn't that make sense to you?

park rat? what else is there? i ski alpental's park like 8 days a week. don't try to tell me there is anything else.

No girls tonight...I just wanna dance.

Yum, theres nothing like an open grave.

i hear crystals park is even better than alpental's.....if thats possible.

No I'm capable of a seriuos conversation but i just like joking around ya know? why does everyone have to be so damn serious all the time? And if you guys want to meet up and build something big then ok. We are just messing around, we are not park rats. Me and eric both ski at alpental which as you probably know does not have a park. We were just joking about crystal having a park because the patrolers are so uptight and will pull your pass for almost nothing. Its not that we cant have a serious conversation...we just choose not to.

Haha, now whos the serious one? anyways, we should definitely meet up, id like the chance to learn from you guys. But im not sure about building in the backcountry this late in the season. especially the chance that we might end up hiking out if we ski down to far and run out of snow. but im not sure what's gonna happen cause ive never been there before.

See you guys there

this one time i had a serious conversation but it was with my doctor over some genital warts and crabs damn pinchy crabs

whoever is building, build along the green valley chair, or if you do mind skiing madly away from the ski patrol for your passes, build it just inside the North Backcountry. However, don't go too far down the backcountry, cause then NO ONE will ever find you.

Actually it was a vietnamese hooker named ming li but ya you get the point if she gets around like a record dont poke it

hmm, ive never been chased by the patrol before, i might have to try it. Are they really that anal retentive? i've never been heckled for building a jump at alpental before.

That's some solid advice Crab-boy.

Well, I've built jumps at Alpental too, and the ski patrolers are really easy. But if you do inverts, they might, just might rip your pass. But at crystal, if you do an invert, they'll rip your pass no matter what. And it's not fun to be chased by the ski-patrol. Some of them are REALLY good.

I got disqualified for doing flairs at the Kahlua 1/2 Jam there, hahaha. I even tried to make them as 'uninverted' as possible, it didn't fly.

crystal sucks ass if you want to jump and thats all there is to it. I'm going to do some backflips off moguls to piss off the patrolers

Hmm, well i dont know if you guys heard (i know because one of the pro patrollers at alpental also teaches for powderpigs). The summit actually changed their policy on inverts this year, instead of being illegal, they are 'highly not reccomended' it even says that on the signs at the top of the central park now. In any case, this year was different from past years in that they cannot pull your pass for doing an invert anymore.

yeah i won 2 free t-shirts at the expression session thing for doing a backflip on the last table. The guy said they were allowed now

HELL YA GANGSTA, I'm planning on spending at least half the day upside down! and if i get hurt im gonna sue the area for not keeping me safe goddamnit!!!!!!

haha NO! thats the reason they have that policy to cover their ass from idiots. i dont know if stevens changed there policy or if it just no longer enforced either way you can flip all you want

Oh yeah, for those who go up saturday, if you don't mind...could you post how it was? Jumps? Conditions? Crowds? Jack-o-Lanterns? The usual, thanks a baker's dozen.

Sincerely,
