does anyone else think it should be displayed on the top of the page. Or at least some sort of header. Right now I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to the legal shit to read the words newschoolers.com on the front page. Would it be that hard to put it right there over the splash page picture/banner thing at the top of the home page/ every page.
 
It says "Newschoolers.com - Freeskiing's Online Community" on the header bar of Firefox at the top...every page too :P
 
I read at the bottom and noticed the copyright 1999-2008 thing, which means NS will be 10 years old next year!
 
A large amount of the traffic that visits the site come here through google searches etc.

They could easily have no idea what site they are on, which is why it's important
 
The other day I actually analyzed this...

and turns out that almost 60% of the traffic comes from directly typing newschoolers.com into the nav bar.

Then 25% comes from google, but of those 25%, 85% of them get here by typing newschoolers or newschoolers.com into google.

So generally people know about NS when they come here. :)

STill though we're adding a logo, I think it'll just look sharp!
 


It could be better... it doesn't quite look right or blend in with the site right now. Might have something to do with the placement and/or logo/text

 
If your shortened it up lengthwise a bit, and then dropped it into the gap between the Nav Headers and the Online list, I think it'd look slightly better.
 
I don't like how "newschoolers.com" overlaps the logo. It should be under it, and like Ryno said, drop it down.
 
Interesting - so is it fair to say that there aren't toooooo many NEW visitors coming to the site then?
