Wow, I was just reading through the article section. I can't believe how long its been since I personally started posting on NS, and how much everything really HAS changed... haha

I personally havent been around since forever, I know some people have been around longer, like Darryl, Will Bray, Denise, etc. But I have been frequenting the site since.. well... i cant even remember, but it was sometime during the end of my freshman year, and I am a senior now...

Hell, I remember way before the recode, when like everything didnt work right, haha... I remember when Ski gabber was basically the discuss anything forum... I remember the addition of Icons, and I remember the addition of SIGS, and I remember the fact that the reason that harvey got rid of the picture sigs is because I showed everyone how to do it :-D, haha

Hell, I remember my first post :-), it was asking anyone would trade ski movies with me.

I dunno, its just so weird... I remember how different the site used to be... I know this kinda belongs in Site Discussion, but I wanted to get a lot of responses to this...

NS has got me through highschool, :-D HAHA

Please keep this thread sorta intelligent.

Yeah I first came here in the spring of 2000... If I remember correctly I was just randomly typing in names, like freestyle.com, newschool.com, newschoolers.com.... and there it was. I don't remember what the site looked like back then, but I do remember that I spent hours pouring over the stuff in the video section. I think what I remember most is the start of the female jibber thread and people making fun of Andy.

hahah, the birthdays. Remember when the guy who was screwing with the SSE had like 10 variations of his name pop up on that birthday list? Or when harvey made pebbles' name all multicoloured?

I think i found this place from a post on the poorboyz site a loooong time ago. I hung around for that winter, then completely forgot about the site for several months, stumbled upon it again (still not remembering it) then when i tried to sign up i was pissed that someone had already taken my nickname. Like the next day i was like 'i bet it was me..' and tried an old hotmail password and it worked.
