I haven't logged in here since 2003 after being an addict when I was in high school the previous couple years, and for some reason today I remembered how awesome and influential on my young stupid brain a lot of the members in this non-ski gabber forum were. So I was just curious, are any of the other first thousand or so members still lurking around here?

Sorry for what I'm sure is a stupid-ass post to all newer members and original members who never bitched out and left in the first place.
 
damn youve been here awhile. but i do still see some 01-02 ish era members post around from time to time. im still kinda new, just been here over a year
 
You sir are part of what we here at NS like to call, the 1%. The 1% of members out of high school that is.
 
obviously just the rednames and a couple mods still post. and some orange names. You'll find some goldens too though
 
youre an OG in my book, I signed up in 05' lerked for about 2-3 years before that, wish i would have made an account sooner, my applauds to you sir!

My girlfriend says I can't claim OG. I'd say that the fact that I was doing switch 7's in 2000 on non twin tipped skis gives me that right.
 
Same here, been on here for two years now and just had my first day of high school. Plan to be on here for quite a long time.

within 4 or 5 years this place is going to be scary.

There's maybe 7 people posting over the age of 14 on year these days.
 
I was on here in like 04 I wanna say my name was ohioskier08 or something iv tried to search it but cant find anything close to that. Ended up forgetting what my username was but I know my password still Id love to get it back some how.

Been here since early 2005. Of all the things that have came and gone the main page sidebar chat is the most missed. That thing was just crazy.

That would more just show that they don't really post anymore, or just never updated info.

I wish people would hit me up on aim instead of fucking facebook chat. Especially when they're going to post stupid shit.
 
just about 10 years to the day for me, but certainly not og. if skiingmotion wasn't around then, I would have become a member sooner

Forgot more about this place than I can remember. It kind of sucks now.
 
i find it funny how despite being well into 60k, there aren't all that many active members who have been here longer than me (and of course people like you)

I mean...where did the other 60,000 go?

also reminds me of the hilarity that was the race to get number 100,000. Should be happening for 200,000 soon I imagine
