I was thinking just now how much of an opinion the Newschool members have on my decisions on what to purchase in the ski industry. Whenever I or anyone else is discussing a ski, boot, binding, pole, goggle, glove, hat, helmet, and any other ski related item, I come and question NS.com, in a way we are one of the most powerful voices in the ski industry.. If you're speaking positively about a company over 1 thousand people a day have the ability to read it.. and if you express yourself eloquently and with enough english that is legible and easily read than you can get across a pretty important message. It's almost like the Ski companies should be paying us. When any new ski comes out you get thousands of threads both positive and negative. but when that ski comes along for example last year with Line Mike Nick. I purchased this ski based off the NS opinion.. I didn't receive any super negative feedback and I learned a lot.. I ski east coast and i dont do moguls so I knew this ski could be right for me.. I created threads, and read everyone else's opinion and it allowed me to ask 'real freestyle skiers' their opinions instead of walking into some racing driven ski store and hear some snowboarder tell me why I should buy some 800$ boots. I just want to go out on a limb and thank NS for their help skiing wise.. and you all can crack down on me now for publicly thanking people i dont even know.. but i guess im just speaking from the heart..
