So most of you must be aware of Facebook or Myspaces chat and I was wondering what you guys think if NS would ever get one. I think it might be pretty cool. It would be a lot easier to discuss B/S/T stuff and ask questions.
It probably wouldn't be too hard to make either.
thoughts? maybe we can make this happen if enough people are stoked on it
 
ya because sometimes ill be trying to buy/sell something to or from someone and occasionally you get the guy that signs on once every blue moon and you can usually only get one PM out of him each time. Sometimes its taken me weeks to sell something to somebody.
i feel if we had the chat if you made a sale thread they could just talk to you on their and get shit worked out really quick
 
didn't like back in 03 they had an ns chat on the home page...? somebody correct me if i'm wrong. i don't really know why they deleted it, i think it was a public chat, they didn't have a private chat between members.
 
yeah ive been hoping for this ever since quick chat was deleted. the only problem i could see for this would be flamers and spammers. they could really fuck shit up.

i agree with allen, a better pm system would be killer.
 
im glad to see that my idea isn't a total fail. hopefully somebody with a red name will see this and bring it into further discussion
 
We've got something in the pipe that you guys should like similar to this idea... but with an ns twist.
We'll see if you like it.

to all of the bumpers above, im pretty sure doug was referring to the cult chat... i might be wrong though
 
word that would be sick... you should be able to block people too though so u can choose who u can chat wiith
 
cant wait to see this. would make buy/selling/trading/offering so much easier. HOWEVER. if we did this all by chat not everyone could see the previous offers made if they were made on the forum. in that case i believe the seller could post up the high offer and keep things much more organized rather than to have to search through every dumb comment that people have posted
 
but i think it should be a personal thing. like you click on a persons name and select begin instant messaging or something. then maybe you can invite more people?

if its gonna be some massive NSG chatroom it will be hectic and your message will be scrolled off the page in seconds.
