I bet everyone here has heard of the game amped: freestyle snowboarding. Well I think that Xbox should seriously making a second game called Amped:Newschool Skiing. With Characters like Tanner

Hall, Jon Olsen, C.R. Johnson...ect. And sponcers like NS, Smith,Orage,Oakley, Silver Cartel,Armada, Rossignol, K2, Line..ect. And you could choose everything in like in amped snowboarding.Clothes, Ski's, Mountains. And the goals would be the same to...to gain sponcership and getting noticed. All the mountains could be the same but with Mammoth and Parkasaurus subsituting for some of the more snowboarding related hills. Also they wouldnt have to change a ton because they could use the same game format as they did for Amped Snowboarding. I think this would be sick and beat Jonny Moseley Mad Trix by a ton.

they could easily do it but for some strange reason... they don't. Its probably cuz, Mosely's game was rated one of the worst for PS2 so they think nobody would buy a new skiing game.

When the going gets tough, the though gets wierd.

and we all know there is no profit available in the skiing industry for a video game... not the money they are lookin for anyways

ya, i mean sure everyone on ns would buy the game if it came out, but that's only like 300-600 max people, so that's not a lot, they're looking for tens of thousands of copies sold, and skier just wouldn't cut it, the range of interest isn't big enough cause at least with snowboarding they have posers, skiing, not so much

i doubt it would go over well because all the poser snowboarders who provides the majority of the sales for boarder game wouldn't buy it becuase skiign is so gay and stuff rigth

no, but i doubt they would, they don't like to mix genres and sports in the same game, in the movie out cold in the king of the mountain scene there is a skier, they don't show him doing anything but he is there, you see him when they first start

i was thinking the same thing, use the Amped game engine to make a ski game, but as u have all stated above, would work for the $$$ reasons

and the fact i dont have an Xbox (i have PS2) so yeah, hosed both ways

there is not money behind newschool skiing thus line is coming out with a differnt line of skies for next year that are not all for newshool skiing. i have a feeling tho... kinda going out on a limb but if skiing half pipe makes the olimpics then our sport will have a shit load of money start rolling in and maybe then we can get a video game like amped
