i would wonder if the market has room for a core boot company. seems like there are lots of indy ski companies, and some are getting into bindings(4frnt and line). noone seems to be getting into boots though( except line, which doesnt make thiers anymore). are boots hard to make, or is there some other reason? i would support a newschool boot company, plus they could make them cheap enough for those of us with no cash. seems like a gap in the market. we have a core sock company, now we need boots!

I bet line has one coming out in two years...after they get the Line Bindings under wraps.

I don't dowt that 4frnts think of one either.

 
Boots are kind of hard to get. You have to have experience to make a quality boot. But hell if a newschool company could make a good boot I would buy em.

 
id like to see DC make a ski boot, kinda like what they do with snowboarding

i've always wondered this myself. boots are such a personal preferance, it seems like there'd always be room for more choice.

I hope the boost of 'no sweat' will be a great accet to the industry, thus inspiring more companies to be born.

 
Boots are complicated business. I wouldn't trust a boot from some brand new company until a lot of people said they liked it.

 
boots come in tons of sizes so i think that might be a reason its hard

I would not support a 'core' company and their little boots, If u think that DC gives a fuck about skiing ur a moron. As ive said before badmitten is what us thugs rep in the yr 2 double 0 6 bitch

 
candide is sooo insignificant to quiksilver, let alone DC.

also, i wouldnt trust an upstart boot company...maybe only a ski company like 4frnt, armada, or line, if they decided to make boots. maybe. (and yes i do realize that line used to make boots, im saying if they try again, i might trust them.)

i heard atomic is launching a new core boot company similar to what burton did with analog called happy heels. its suppost to be pretty wild. but i heard they are only gonna be avalible in london and mabey greenland.

I wish someone would make a lighter boot/binding system like with snowboards. Ski shit weighs a ton. Board boots n' bindings are so much lighter.

Boots are way more complicated to make than skis, a new boot company wouldn't get it right first time so I wouldn't buy them. Aren't DC snowboard boots shit? I know vans ones are pretty crappy. They've just got the vans brand name behind it. Do we want that for skiing?
