Wall trampoline is getting crazier and more serious. It looks a little too much like gymnastics/aerials for my liking, but entertaining nonetheless. It even has a large enough following to be considered in the xgames. I think it's a really young sport, but it is pretty insane

 
They're putting this in X-Games and still won't put in rollerblading? Ridiculous.
 
Roller blading got taken out because it didn't get the ratings, trampolining won't be put in X Games, but it is in the Olympics.
 
Not this type of trampolining though, this is like the "newschoolers" of trampolining, so to speak, so it could be if the ratings were good. OP said that they were thinking about putting this in. Rollerblading should be put back in, it has a lot more support now.

Use to do that with a cinder block and a 1x12 when I was younger with my brothers. Enough hand time to flip and land on the grass easily.
 
It's sick however I don't think it will get into x games. X games sports seem to have sports where the sport relies on how you can interact with different courses. I don't really see much more than tramps and walls here. Still sick though.
 
Maybe not with just a wall, but I could see a course being made like what was seen at 1:57, with a bunch of angled tramps at different levels and some gaps or something. I could see freerunning getting in X before that though.
 
young sport?? not really. It's been around for 80ish years, has had world championships for 50 years and been in the Olympics for 12.
 
Rollerblading is back I'm te x games this year, and the only reason it got taken out was because of a huge fight. I'm not getting into it but some vary importint people who represented rollerblading pissed if the head of the x games. I kow because one of my friends has been in the industry for a long time and there's some video about it I'll try to find it. Also sorry for the spelling I'm on moble

if this gets put in the x-games i lose all respect for the x-games franchise and it is a sure sign that action sports are doomed.

So action sports are doomed if people tramping next to walls can participate in the X Games... I get the loss of respect for X I guess, but I think the demise of action sports is quite the overstatement.
 
Oh, ok that changes things. Yeah I can see why there was a huge fight, Arlo (head of one of the biggest company at the time) was kind of a doucher and didn't really respect things so I wouldn't be suprised if it was him. He was a funny guy though.
 
The type of trampolining in the olympics is similar to aerial skiing. NS would rather see trampolining with corks, bios, rodeos, etc. with creative grabs and style.
 
No one here is talking about what NS wants to see. It's about what the X Games want to see if this get's put in or if the sport is going to be put in.
