Newfies?

As in Newfoundland and Labrador. Who's been there, who lives there? It's pretty isolated as far as Canadian provinces go, but the scenery looks wicked awesome, and the dialect is pretty funny, apparently.

I always thought newfoundland was a mythical place like atlantis or heaven.

I live there. Was born on the east coast of the island, but grew up on the west. I live on the east coast again now. If you are ever here, the west coast is a much nicer place to visit.
